The list is in the kiosk, most likely any one of the staff on the first 2 pages of GP can upload.

I'm not sure if Comyt was specifically referring to Alumni when he said "your guild" and "your members"

I'm sure he wasn't, but I'm using specific examples to question why he thinks certain things - I have 0 experience in other guilds and don't pay attention to most of what happens in other guilds, so I can't really provide any actual examples other than what goes on in Alumni

Maybe the behavior is positive in some circumstances rather than negative.

I don't see what's wrong with it at all - two more examples that are personal and relative to my own guild:
  1. Sarah and I did not get along when we first met and she actually made some parody guild about Alumni being "boosters," we talked about it and I realized she wasn't a bad person and was just messing around and doing what she wanted - we started talking more and after a while I decided I'd ask her if she wanted to join the guild because I noticed that she was really quiet and just sparred a ton (and is good at it), and I like that
  2. Never really got along with Eko and argued with him on these forums before, but upon him asking to join the guild we started talking and he seems like a cool person - why should I not give someone the chance to help the guild, even if it may be out of personal benefit to themselves?

So, what I'm saying is that Comyt acts as if the "guild helps player while player helps guild" relationship is some bad or poisonous one, but it isn't. That's what it's supposed to be. That's what causes people to establish some sort of loyalty to the guild and what causes the guild or leader of the guild to feel as if certain players are really important to them.

He's tried it once before. There are reputable players becoming a part of this new team, although I cannot vouch for their cooperative teamwork. Plenty of them are great people and excellent fighters from any angle (not to mention great friends), but the team itself will need work before being considered "deadly". I've never been a part of a team led by Tal, but I think he may possess the ability to tune and condition his new assembly before the next competition. Apply what Kuz said about Alumni to this newborn guild; Only time will tell.

It's never "deadly" when he is missing his sister from the team. ;)

Comyt 06-09-2014 02:33 AM

no need for any more personal attacks, demrow already showed everyone how weird you are.

i could respond to your joke with the whole alumni getting along and stuff, but i have already pointed out that some of your members don't even speak your language.

i don't care about your little alumni history with them, they ended up on my side when every GST came around.

and jesus christ stop replying to everything i post like it's directed at you, i'd use the ignore button but then i wouldn't be able to see your idiotic responses to everything i post and i'd have to rely on someone telling me on graal.

too lazy to type out an essay so i'll just end it here with a quote from tae:
"alumni are so ****ing weird man"

cue salt fest, predictable 8 paragraph responses and links to various webpages nobody will read.
inb4 thread closes.
see you guys, if you want more entertainment later hmu on graal.

a predictably immature, aggressive, and angry reply from Comyt

lol, if Demrow did anything, he showed how incredibly immature he is.

I'll do the honors, since he's never posted anything intelligent or calm anyway:

yawn, y'all are killin another thread

I like Thall's specific examples in his post above. Still, I think a well conditioned team performs in competition better than one that simply gets along (which by the way, did happen to Alumni, to follow up with the examples). Which ties us back to the main concept of the thread. :D

very few people have shown loyalty in iGraal. The majority of the players only care about themselves and their graal "status" in the community, so most of them will go with the option that will benefit them the most.

Another note: dont trash the people that make last minute teams for gst. The so called true sparing guilds are just as bad. They recruit for the sole purpose of the gst, and if you dont believe me go to the guild spar room and you will only see them the week prior to the gst.

this whole idea of guild loyalty and "real teams" is disgusting. let's be honest, 99% of the people preaching "real teams" only assemble their guilds for the purpose of winning the gst. your members are only "loyal" because they think they can win and they allow you to use them for GST. they are not your "friends" they are internet people playing a game, and their goal is to win in the game. this is evident by people ditching their "friends" for different guilds just for a "better GST team." ex: (Ruthless),(DoT), me from (US) to (Sage), eko from (Deity) to (Alumni), roxas from (Ruthless) crew to (5pa4), etc... hope you all realize this eventually.

don't get mad at me for being the only person to be real with you on these forums.

with that being said, tae and yurhomi are the 2 most loyal members of any guild ever formed. been with me since i picked them up when they were nobodies.

i want to report comet for plagiarism. He stole my thoughts and claimed them as his own.

Note: dont mind me just passing by, the argument can continue now.

another note: Winter, getting in between these two is like trying to get a bone from two hungry dogs, it can be dangerous.

He stole my thoughts and claimed them as his own.

the thought itself is about as necessary to point out as "the sky is blue" though, and that's what I'm getting at

it's not even worth questioning that there are people who join strong guilds because they see it as a way to progress individually, yet that does nothing to take away from the fact that there are people who care about being part of a cool group of people and achieving stuff as a guild

that should never be the core of any argument, because the people who are pointing it out need their Captain Obvious capes, and the people arguing against it are wrong

BTW, Comyt himself is an exact example of what he's trying to preach against - GOAT, I know you saw how the name "Talbourn" just randomly slipped into his "dream team" list of PC players earlier in the thread (and that's not to say Talbourn isn't a good sparrer)

trust me, it's DEFINITELY NOT because he just joined a guild that Talbourn is the leader of - he'd have done the same exact thing for Deophite had Deo never removed Comyt, Tae, and the others from US (bless you Deo for not allowing yourself to be manipulated by that kid, recruit whoever he suggests, and ruin the entire image of US)

Comyt 06-09-2014 03:57 AM

two things then i'm really out:

1. talbourn recruited me and eddy to his guild (DoX) a really long time ago before i was even considered for (US). to say i am only complimenting him to benefit myself or whatever would be pretty damn stupid, i don't need someone to set me up in an idevice team, i just thought maybe i could finally finish what talbourn wanted to start before (Mother) was even a thing. if you look at the (Memory) members, more than half of the idevices are (Sage) members. bringing the crew. i don't even care about benefitting myself in the game anymore anyways, obsessing over GST teams and all kind of gets old after you've already won so many times and accomplished everything that other people are still working towards.

^btw this post is basically game over, gg.

2. at this point i forgot my second thing honestly. it was probably really important but i'll just write whatever here. goat, i'm not stealing anything you said, check my post history, i've been preaching the same stuff. here to actually point out real facts and make people think, my posts aren't "angry little-man syndrome" they're more intelligent than every post thallen has ever made combined. these forums need someone to point out that he is constantly lying to everyone and sorry if it pisses you off but that's been me most of the time.

adding a third: you all take me way too serious and freak out over every little thing i post way too heavily. i'm not mad on the internet, i don't know what everyone's image of me is but it seems completely wrong. i'm just trying to have fun while still provoking people to think. and provoking people to get insanely mad and obsess over forum posts that i make is part of the "having fun."

No, and no.

And ive never read any of Comyts posts as "immature, angry, or uncalm" as you say. Unless you're saying you are those things too, because your posts towards him look exactly the same as his. His posts towards you are only aggressive because like to sit on his balls 24/7. You added him to your ignore list, yet you're still replying to him.
