In the most anal retentive sense "Australians" could not be considered a race, but you would be silly to argue the point. In the social-science sense, a 'race' would be a group defined by their physical similarities.

I suppose 'Australians' would be considered an "Ethnicity":

"Ethnicity refers to shared cultural practices, perspectives, and distinctions that set apart one group of people from another. That is, ethnicity is a shared cultural heritage."

But this view of the world is a strange way of looking at humans. If we consider "Australians" just an ethnicity that implies that that we only allow 'races' to be the aboriginal people of their respective lands as they're the only ones who have genes that would have been influenced by the landscape.

If we take this view, then the only real Americans would be the Native Americans and the only real Australians would be the Aboriginal Australians, then one could make the point that there are no real English people or French people and ideas like English people or French people are just social constructs, because Europe is bastardised by thousands of years of cross-cultural breeding.

I don't think anyone looks at the world like that, not even you.

If you do believe that there's not many races, just socially constructed ethnicities, and you dislike the social construct that is 'Australia' then you wouldn't be a racist you'd be a bigot. Which is just as bad.

Tashkin. Stop trying to be like other servers. I say (Along with GIT) that Zone should be a giant futuristic warzone. Also, all my friends quit Zone because of the ****ty noises. Also NEW TILESET. The present one is horrible.

As for the tileset. As it stands, I'd rather see the map be much less linear and have things such as turns, uneven housing lots, etc. instead of it all being symmetrical in a 3x3 lot with the exact same dimensions. THEN a new tileset is definitely need.

No, they don't have access to scripts on the login server that are needed for push notifications. We (Classic) intend to do something with our push notifications soon though, so perhaps we can assist Zone in this.

Can anyone tell me how much better this game is than it was at launch? I didn't really like it. It seems interesting but the content and activities weren't there for me.

Worse than launch at the moment. A fair bit of the content is becoming repetitive with a a chunk of it being direct copies from Era.

Gun-wise, it's fairly diverse, but it's so full of joke weapons that it just ruins the PvP atmosphere. Not really much variation in weapon damage either, aside from a little bit of spread of speed.

No gun admin, so no one is really dedicated to making PvP fun.

Over-world map is just too big with a lot of pointless carbon-copy lots of 3x3 on top of skybases that are not only too small, but lack any real challenge. All linear with nothing to really do but move up or down.

Too much focus on hats and furniture at the moment, so there isn't much real lasting content. Could be different now, but this is how it was when I left.

Lastly, squads ruin most of the gameplay as a lot of the PvP content is centered around squads. Not to mention that it has the exact same mechanics as iEra and iClassic, so it's really just a trash addition.

On the bright side, making money is a lot easier than iEra... but that's really the only upside.

All in all, not really worth it until Tash steps down and lets PD take the position so he can focus on one server while PD does the other. No offense Tash, but I really think you should choose between either server if it is true that you manage both iZone and iGK.
