There isn't going to be a miracle fix for guilds. Most of the perceived issues are caused by players, and while there are a few things that can be addressed at a development level, any changes are still going to be up to the community to use appropriately. Introduce new standards to what a guild means once the system is revised and and set an example to your peers.

Hat monkeys can get over it.

I just don't like seeing guilds rush for this. Hats are pretty damn useless for something like towering, too. Hope there are significant changes and better rewards, I would like to start towering again but not until good changes are made. |

Correction, you were one of the leaders. Shameful the way you carried stuff out.:sarcastic: |
That is how any towering guild works/used to work I'm pretty sure. The top 2 rows are 'leads' persay, and the last 3 are people who have a temp tag, and maybe even temp powers, to recruit and kick, but other than that, that is how any towering guild works/worked.

That has always been what guilds did. We kick people offline to replace them with someone online. What is the point of having a full guild when you have 10 people offline not defending. This has always happen. Only guild that didn't really do it was redrum but that was back in the day when you could defend a tower with 5 people online. Today's towers it takes more to make sure you don't. So saying something is disgusting when you don't even know about towers just shows how much feedback you should give to this thread.

A lot of people who use that strategy, including me, agree that it sucks for the game, but if it's the best way to do it then you're simply going to do it otherwise you won't survive. Everyone knows what they're getting into when they join a tower guild.

The only thing I feel shame in is using an Anbu-style mask for Unreal a year ago, because that seems to have revived a trend and at this point it's been beaten into the ground so hard that I wish mine was deleted |

If you take a look at it now, it really does seem odd to have a system where there are so many guilds taking advantage of members for the sake of specific rewards, such as hats. It isn't a behavior that I think needs to be rewarded, but since it's become a primary strategy it's only fair for me to assume you'd oppose my thoughts. Everyone knows what they're getting into when they join a tower guild. I don't like how something this ridiculous, as a strategy, is so effective. It's a very selfish way of retrieving awards; I cannot join any good guilds anymore because I am always getting tossed out for online people. They don't care about the members, hatchasing seems to be the objective. |

The new system will make it so kicking wont really be used as much I believe since theres going to be 50 member limit, so if you wanted to be kept in the guild you should wait. Quote:
