Gee this is the slowest nexus update in history of graal, its better to close and refund everything back, and then reopen later on when its actually ready (Ik its possible since they did it once at 2013). Also the staff had the whole summer to come up with nexus theme x.x

I know, Which is what makes this nexus actually more annoying than actually fun. Let's hope it's open tomorrow. Because at this rate it's really overdo if it isnt open tomorrow

Have patience young grasshoppers

Why do you guys want it open now? This just gives you more time to save some gralats up, just spend your time doing that.

Its not that though, its the fact that they've released it without actually finishing it yet. Its just lazy development.

There are plenty of people on graal who would do this work for free without any complaints and get it done on time. This kind of development is much more for experience rather than actually getting paid. If these developers arent willing to meet deadlines then switch them out for new people who want to do it.

That's the thing though, if there were "plenty of people who'd love to work for free" then Classic would definitely be able to spew more content out than they do. Truth is though, no one particularly wants to work for free. Even if you do, that doesn't mean you have the necessary experience to do so. If they hired just anyone to work on content then people would complain about the "trash graphics." Not everyone has the experience required and if they do they more than likely don't want to waste their time working for free. Those who do have experience and work hard (willingly AND for free might I add) to create as much future content as possible, get shat on by players like you,who think just because release of content doesn't go your way the entire experience was s***.

When taking a role which has to please many people, you cannot expect everyone to just love you because you're doing the work for free. I dont care if you're not getting paid - You should still be held to a certain amount of standard, and if you expect people to kiss your shoes because you're doing it for free, then you are wrong.

When did I claim that admins want you to kiss their shoes JUST because they work there? My point is that you can't expect those who DO work on the server to prioritize it 24/7, they have lives outside of Graal. You HAVE to have basic experience for your application to even be considered as a staff member on Graal, doesn't matter if you want to work for free, you need to know how to do it. Of course, if the EXPERIENCED current staff didn't like working there, regardless of being paid or not, they would leave. Development DOES work hard to keep producing content for players, but you have to keep in mind, like I have stated several times, THEY HAVE LIVES OUTSIDE OF WORKING FOR GRAAL. Of course, if they were paid, they'd be more willing to work on content considering they wouldn't have a full time job at that point, but that isn't the case.

Their role is just to make graphics and finish them before the deadline hits which I'm pretty sure they do. It's just that planning and such is up to the head of the graphics team and even after that it still has to go to someone who can put together the levels and set up the purchase features etc.

No point in blaming graphics admins when it's up to the higher ups to make sure the planning is alright so everything is done in time.

Maybe you're onto something here. Maybe if they were paid... it would actually work?
Hell I know I'd apply seriously if it was a real position and not 'for the experience.'

If some one significant is reading this, I have project management experience in ios/android development, and know how to fix problems like this. Before. They. Happen.

Delterias Thor 09-28-2018 05:41 AM

Well they made selling furniture worthless and balancing looting now they should be making enough from selling gralat packs to actually pay some staff members in order to keep content flowing.

I suppose this is a troll, but there is not going to be benefit from ripping off players. In fact, here. Go see my rant here.
