Sorry but unless you actually know anything about the doctrinal principles of the mormon church you will find that they DONT practice polygamy and havent done so for like 150 years so get your facts straight. also the only reason they "practiced" it in the first place was because when they were chased out of "the free land" aka america (in kirtland, ohio, Nauvoo, etc etc) to settle in the west, mainly utah, many of them died along the way. Because of this the men of the church were told to remarry to look after women who had lost their husbands. After they had settled polygamy was banned. Oh, and you mentioning mormons is being prejudice, no? cheers pal. |
