The Higbey role playing stuff that I read was pretty lame. I mean A+ for a role-playing effort. It was just too much. I did get a serious kick out of the people who thought it was actually Hig's fault. :P I'm also getting a serious kick out of the posts directed towards Spoon, a very big kick.

exuse me, but do you think anyone gets excited by hats released in stores? do you have a epic event with a ancient power of chaos and evil every time that a guild takes a tower?

my role play and the staff members use of the effects and with his unseen help, i put forth a act longer and more free than the murder mystery play,

i had absolutly no time to plan out what to do, i was warped to a empty spot and told to do something, and with help and improvisation i was able to put on a show, declaring and giving cryptic hints at the future of that spot, ive been playing the part since then, answering the massive amount of pms i get in character and giving a slight hint, enough to satisfy the curiousity of the player so they will stop bugging me, but not telling enough to leak the surprise, i have to deal with players all the time, about this update, and had to deal with staff popping up because some players reporting me for hacking, thinking that i got behind a bar or that i deleted the nexus and did all of the stuff through HACKING!

i put my will into creating Higbey, and i daresay, without any storytelling or "RP" this event would have been rather unexplained and result in angry backlash from confused players, and the entire event of the nexus disappearing would be boring and dull, so yes, my "rp" was not needless, and infact id love if more people could be original and willing to be creative with roleplay, perhaps if more would roleplay as something other than a baby for adoption or a teenage prostitute infront of burger refugee the community could come up with their own damn storyline.

but no, you, you impudent little dull unimaginative brat, you have the gall to bring me out of character and suggest that the game should be point A to point B with no creativity, and act like what i do is strutting and being more important, ive declined all guild requests, and try to stay off tag as much as possible, im not advertising any guild or trying to be staff, im being a freaking villain and subject for a quest in progress you annoying doldrum of a twerp.

That was amazing... And I do agree I like how they removed Nexus, if they didn't have some interesting reason behind it I'm sure there would be constant rioting and raging.

Yeah, Higbey it wasn't bad, but I just couldn't enjoy reading it. :( It's probably due to the response (in the game that I read in here) from the players whom many of which seemed ignorant to the fact was role playing.
