Is there a certain program your using to make the game? I'm quite interested in making video games.

I write my games using a high level framework called libgdx http://libgdx.badlogicgames.com/ in java using the netbeans IDE. Both of these are free. There's plenty of good java tutorials around to get started, but it's no small task if you're a newcomer to programming in general.
