Eyyy for future GST hats they should make a thread where the selection of hats are posted so we can give feedback to the staff before they have a final 6 shortlist.

Goten tried to change our airplane hat to clean it up a little. Yami gave permission; But apparently Xor told Goten that the only edits that would be allowed is if you add the letters "GST"; If I remember correctly.

Also, I havent seen an explanation as to why an iDev team was allowed to pick a hat from the mixed side.

Xor allows small edits and adding lettering to the hat, with permission of the hat maker. The vdragz guild picture is a good example, we moved the shoulder pads, changed the eyes and adding lettering. Recolours are NOT allowed.

Leah denied this? I think the hat editing is only between the gfx artist who made the hat and xor...

i dont see why you feel the need to edit the hats anyways, when you pick your hat have it in mind that you arent allowed to edit it. you shouldnt go into it saying "oh i like this hat, but lets recolor it once we win it"

btw i was expecting a think A. thats too skinny yo.

customization is always a good option.

it would be cool if they only drawn the borders of the gst hats and winners can pick the color + symbol or letter.

Also the editing-uploading must be done within 2-3 days after the tournament has concluded. Xor's rules...

Not even a big deal, I just don't see why there's such a lack of clarity and consistency when it comes to these things

I guess it's because then everyone will want to edit their hats. You don't want just a recolor, now you want your guild's logo on it.

Next thing you know, everyone else will want their guild names on their hats.

Considering how small the chance is of those people actually winning, i don't see it as an issue.

I haven't heard of any GST Hats that have been edited recently. Things change, doesn't mean something that was offered in the past (which shouldn't have been anyways - in my opinion) is going to be offered forever.

I meant the winners who get 1st, 2nd, 3rd... they will want to have their hats edited as well.

Yeah, we deserve that.

I remember US getting edits for 2/3 of their first place hats which seems 100% fair to me considering how often we/they won. It's not like we're asking for the hat to say "ALUMNI BEST GUILD EVER" on it, it's just a nice (very small) personalized touch for something that we won.

If the admin is willing to take the time out to do the recolor and a very small edit + re-uploading the hat itself takes like what, 15 seconds tops? I don't see the issue here.

If the rules stated that you could get these benefits, then go ahead.

Until they do, if this were to happen, then everyone else will want edits.

Small edits are allowed, like transparency issues or bad alignments.

Also, you guys had other options. They make 3 hats for a reason.

I'd would love for my hats to be green or yellow, but yeah.
