Darn. Once I get my Gamecube Adapter I'll start playing this a lot more. I just don't enjoy using the Gamepad that much for this game. I really want to challenge some of you though.

I'm surprised how much those things are going for on Amazon. I paid $171 for my Cosmo Black 3DS in 2013 on there and now a new one on there is going for $251 at the lowest price.

I have pretty much given up on the Wii U Gamecube Adapter being sold individually over winter break. It's ridiculous because they released a bundle with four Gamecube controllers + adapter, a bundle with 2 Gamecube controllers + adapter, and the original bundle with the game + adapter+ remote increased by $10 (used to be $100 but is now $110). I will not play with the Gamepad so I'm going to freeze my game in carbonite until I get one. Why, Nintendo? You made the adapters because you knew people would want to play with the Gamecube controllers, but then you only release a small quantity that are all gone day one? For shame.

I saw some in Gamestop like 3 days ago lol.

Today I finally purchased a Gamecube Adapter (Official Japanese Version) for $50 on eBay and should be expecting it near the end of February or beginning of March. My sister and I split costs so she paid $25 and I paid $25. I can't wait to play this game. I've just been dying having it sit on my shelf.

because he launches like paper and he doesn't have the mobility of jigglypuff. Also he has the same issue as duck hunt and can't get kills easily without them at 150%. Its sad.

I recently got the new 3ds and smash bros. The one thing I really didn't like is that there was no story mode like Subspace Emissary from SSB Brawl.

Nintendo promised shrek and thomas the tank engine as playable characters and they lied, i am exetremely p*ssed off because of this and i am now posting this pointless post.

Mmm... Thomas had a limited moveset so they decided to cut him from the game. He had this ramming attack from the side, smoke puffs to hit enemies from above, and a reverse spin to cover both sides, but his aerial attacks were pure ****. Same goes for projectiles.

Dawg i found out the best way to grind out customs and equipment. Go into smash run on 3ds with a mii brawler and upgrade defense and attack. You will be swimming in customs.

Shrek was way to good for this game. All his moves lead into true combos, he has a hoo hah of dthrow into uair that kills at 80%. Instead of hoo hah its GET REKT. He has super armor on his shrek body slam and has perminate super armor on all attacks. Also his dsmash is like marios but hits on frame 1-30 and last 30 frames.

Shrek's overrated. It's all bout Charizard. Am i right guys? Lool. But srsly Charizard sucks so much now. :(

Charizard isnt all that bad. He has a few tricks you can do since he has super armor and OP blitz. But for competitive play he isnt that good.

Duck Hunt Trio main here, can confirm. Duck hunt just ****s all over charizard, ganon, DK, and Gay Bowser because projectiles.

I suck at this game. Shulk is the only character I can do damage with.

You play on 3ds or wiiu. Im looking for sparring people on here. Also best way to get good is play people who destroy you and watch replays of it and analyze what you did wrong.

If you didn't know, you can take snapshots mid-battle through the pause menu while fighting. It gives you great cinematic options, so most pictures look great. It's pretty enjoyable.

If you have an SD card in your 3DS (I don't know how it works for Wii U, but I'd assume it's the same), just chuck it into your computer after taking some screenshots and upload your favorites here! (Be sure to put it back in your console, though.)

Do you have a main character, or do you just play whoever?

I'd like to play online more often, but it's always extremely slow and choppy on my end. My wifi seems great on other platforms, I don't know why it's choking up on this. :-/

I mainly play as Dark Pit or Sonic (my childhood hero). I have some screenshot of them, I'll post whenever I get my hands on my 3DS :p

shut down everything that has to use the internet, then get near your router. Also if you are playing on for glory, thats why its so choppy. Since theres really no matchmaking system, you connect with people all around the world and the servers are not great. Playing with friends is a lot better though.

Diddy Kong is S tier because of his HOO HA combo of dthrow into uair that kills at like 130 and around 115 with rage, his ****ing banana peel that combos into fsmash, and in the correct hands can put on a incredible amount of offensive pressure. Theres only one character who constantly gets **** on and dosn't need the nerfs and thats Greninja.

i ****ing hate shulk so god damn much. Short hops > fairs and breaks my damn clay pidgin or can every ****ing time. Pac Man is great though.

I like Shulk because of his blade's power and final Smash attack
