The more colors you have in your graphics = the more space it takes up on a server. Also I highly doubt you laid down 255 colors by yourself so it is either resized or you used tools. JS

Well, pixel art is about controlling the image on a pixel level. If you use a tool that aids you, most of the time those tools are messy. So, if you have loads of colors in one area using a tool, it's technically not a controlled medium. Hence, there are too many colors being displayed.

no, it is called pixel art because you do each pixel individually lol. Only tools really used in pixel art is paint bucket and pencil. Rest just mess up your image.

Prefer gimp because it is free.

when you make something just use the pencil (or whatever the tool is on photoshop that is 1x1) to avoid going super high in color count. Most of your colors had only a difference in 1 shade lower or higher. Easy fix, but ya. Takes up server space the more colors used.

when i do the light or shadow on stuff i use light tool and shadow tool

Personal preferences don't usually apply to everyone. Zerith uses MS Paint and makes quality stuff. Most would consider it a "weak" program. I like GIMP, doesn't mean you have to.

This is a Hunter-nin Corps Mask. It took a while to edit from the original concept of what the design on the mask would be I drew and upload becuase of the power outage caused by Hurricane Sandy. Not really much to say....
