but starmie is a spinner and gengar is a spinblocker so that's not gonna do a great deal for you unless you predict the switch

Starmie works nicely to take out Gengar, it easily baits in Gengar because its a spinblocker and Starmie's a spinner, and it can OHKO with STAB Psychic

It can then spin whenever it wants

i ran a more bulky stamie with little to no firepower but recover, natural cure, lefties and scald made it pretty hard to get rid of
