What do you think about Graals' jailing system or staff members? Whichever pick the ban time.

(Theoretically the system should do choose the time depending on the violation, but I don't think that is how it goes.)

This is only a friendly poll.

I cannot voice my opinion on this topic since I've started the thread.
That would create bias, and I'd like to know what everyone thinks,
while not having my own view persuade them.
(Possibly when the thread has a lot of other views)


Essentially the visual is showing one person was swearing and received a years worth of ban time, whereas another person had done the same thing, including harassment, and received 2 hours.
(It apparently went up to 10 hours later on.)
*Note: Both of these players were from iClassic

On iEra we have to jail/ban players for a specific amount of time depending on the seriousness of the case. So you'll find our ban or jail times far more consistent than what i've seen of iClassic.

iClassic removed jail though. That's why we see all these short-length bans.

That is good, I haven't seen postings from players via iEra, which is why I noted that this was from iClassic. I can only speak from the sources of which I found them. :x

That is good then, because I'm not discussing bans, I'm discussing the system behind them. ;D

I could care less about both of their bans.
I also edited the first message to fit also.
Others should not talk about their own ban type statuses, only the system behind it and what they have witnessed.

A years ban for severe vulgarity O.o? It might just be me, but I've been noticing more harsh bans lately. The system is fine how it is, but sometimes is abused a bit.

Wow. A 1 year ban! That's crazy.

Its up to the GP's to think carefully about how long they will ban that person for if they broke any rules. But i guess this one just went "oh hec *bans person without thinking"

I can say that all the ban times are based on what the person is being banned for and if there are any multiple offenses for the same reason. 1 year bans are like saying we gave you multiple chances to clean up your act but you persistently continued to do the bad thing you were doing over and over again
