Red/Blue Crab Daggers OP!
 

Ok, so somethings gotta be done about those red/blue crab daggers in my opinion. Once your hit, it's litterally impossible to move since they are do fast and the knokback makes you not move at all. I've tested it with Katana, Bamboo, Unbrella and hunter and they all lose when 1 on 1 with the Holy crab daggers :( its pretty unfair how a free melee is better than those of $$$ or a mighty amount of ecs :(

Solution - The distance when hit due to the 'knokback' to be increased so the person can recover... :)

Any thoghts/experiences?

how do you get crab daggers anyway?

You killed the king crabs and then they dropped it... This happened a while back and Dosnet work anymore,

agreed there are too many whine threads and soon there will probably just be a new op melee

thats what the forums about. people complained about pbp= pbp was nerfed, and so was like every other gun/item in era. i just think it should be the same with these noob crab daggers. You keep getting owned by them everytime regardless of your skill level and your melee/weapon. you should try basing sometime and see the amount of people using these crab daggers and when your streaking how u sometimes get ****ed by a random noob with a crab dagger...

I base and I don't complain about them... Just accept the fact that they are powerful. Also the forum isn't about whining its about suggesting idea and helping other people etc.

Yes, make them NO KNOCKBACK, or make them a low chance of knockback (10%)

If you think about it, it really is unfair. You work hard to get the ec for a good melee like the hunter or katana and then the next week, they release a new, stronger dagger with knockback AND it's free. :/

You are aware it was challenging to get these "free" melees, right? I never got one. Only a black one as a gift. The only change would be to make the player transparent and invulnerable for a few seconds.

Think about how I feel after getting 100 ecs, purchasing a lightsaber, then watching it get nerfed twice with free melees overpowering it. Just get used to it, don't expect a change. In the end, you'll realize that a gun could kill any melee, just keep a safe distance. Once those crab dagger get a hit, you just stop spamming your gun and run a safe distance, hoping to avoid consecutive hits.

It won't happen. And like bobo said, just keep your distance, not that hard. Take a break from bullet spamming xD (not saying that you do, but everyone does it every now and then.)

Agreed, I've had this numerous times an it's really annoying. You're just stuck in one spot and can't escape due to the apeed of the attacks combined with the knockback. It does need a nerf.

It doesn't need a nerf when you can just shoot users from a little bit away. Also they are not as common as you think. So stop moaning and just shoot them. Easy

-_- first of all, u think it's OK for a free melee to beat rare ec items and other rare Melees which are brought with $$$? And I swear your in ebi? Do u not see red/blue op crab daggers used by literally everyone and they are like impossible to win over if u are 1 on 1 for the flag at a base. And you think I haven't tried shooting? They just come near u and spam use the daggers= automatic 20-30 damage done and by the time u know it, your dead :(

All I'm asking is that the crab dagger itself is fine but the knock back is crazy as the knock back does harldy any amount range which enembles the dagger user to carry on spamming it thus, leading into a very unfortunate death.

Yeah i'm in Ebi. So what? Most people I see don't use crab daggers. The knock back is what makes it unique from the other crab daggers which were more common. Also I only ever discourage people when they post **** on the forums which does happen quite frequently.
