Lets finish nerfing the lightsaber!
 

Well it's obvious that the lightsaber was made to suck, so ill share the last decent thing about it. If you're blocking with it then use your ice skates you can turn with it, just like the old days! If this gets nerfed well all know that the lightsaber was a gag to waste people's time and effort!

100 ec this thing needs a major buff along with bamboo

It should be 10 damage,able to deflect melees,able to switch directions when spinning. Right now the lightsaber is ****,it was already alright for it's price but you know,staff don't give you what you paid for.

This makes me sick! What is up in the minds of these admins? 100 ec takes forever! I don't have a Lightsaber and most likely never will but this is ultimate unfairness at the highest level. What's the point of a melee which people takes months to save for to suck to a level to a, TO A STUPID CRAB DAGGER! Same goes with bamboo. It's 35 ecs for pure junk.

ALSO they nerffed umbrella/lightsaber again, when you try to deflect the bullets by pressing the deflect icon.. if a bullet its you it disables you to move which results in instant death under 3 seconds :l

The thing is light saber and umbrella both rare and expensive item, I don't think there should be any reason at all to nerf them, however are they willing to buff it again poorface?

Of course not lol. When was the last time they actually buffed something in need of it?

So sad. These changes may never come to be since the weapons admins and developers and whoever the hell does the weapon stats is too chicken**** to listen to us and make a decent change for once. Seriously, buff lightsaber bamboo and umbrella, put in some decently priced guns, and your job is done, otherwise id like to suggest to snk a new weapons admin. Seriously.

Well it clearly does since the rarest and what's sopposed to be the best melee in era, The holy Lightsaber, totally works like crap. It was good before the nerf. What was the need of the nerf anyways? Ok it was a teeny weeny bit overpowered but what do you expect? It is a 100 ec item for f**k sake.

Same goes with Umbella. It's an 100k melee. How many Melees are there worth 100k? Not a lot, and those which ARE a expensive Melees, they do there job like the chainsaw dealing 15 damage or something.

And last but certainly not least, the 35 ec bamboo. The description of it stands out 'has a chance of blockIng bullets'. That description is an ultimate scam! Put in comparison of an item with the same worth like the katana. The katana is fast, looks cool, and does what it says on the tin. However, the bamboo dosent! It's a total piece of junk. What is the need of a nerf on it? It's meant to be a 'super item'. It's definatly NOT being treated like one.

Even crab daggers are better than lightsaber

Yes. Except maybe just 9 damage, and the lightsaber 10 with a higher chance of deflection. So basically trade old defense capabilities for offensive ones.

Back to past. If blocking melees is cheap on stefans opinion... Light saber is from star wars right? Saber agains saber is like a melee fight right? Saber does block saber in the movie. Yes i agree that magical bullets apears is kinda stupid but at least you could make enemy gets hurt when he/she attacks person who does block.

As much as how I hate ec hoarding, it requires skill whilst OP free Melees (crab daggers) and buying graalat packs don't. Think about it, when you have 100 ecs, you are looking for the most rare and epic melee on the market= Lightsaber. What is the literal point of purchasing the 'rarest' item on Era when it is going to suck as low to a standard to something free? Also, what was the need to nerf it in the first place. Anyone who ever got killed by it always thought that 'Damn that Weopen is Overpowered' and then thought 'Oh well, it is a 100 EVENT COIN melee so I deserve to die'.

Same goes with Bamboo. It should have exactly the same stats as saber APART from the damage which could stay the same. Apart from that, Bamboo and Saber need to be buffed.

Umbrella should also be on the list after buffing the Saber and Bamboo since it also have exactly the same stats as saber apart from the damage. Oh, and on the description of the unbrella, it says 'The indestructible...' when in reality, that is also a 'scam' description just like the bamboo. It most certainly IS NOT indestructible since the recent nerf made it so that when you are hurt, you can't take out the unbrella for like 3 secounds which ALWAYS makes you die.
I don't have words for how, as well as the society of era scams, the admins also scam with there nerf of weapons, invalid description of items and making innocent children buy items which is later nerfed. It's just... its sad.

I don't see why they cant just make an item good so they wont need to nerf it if its cheap and easy to get make it bot so good harder to get make it better instead they over power everything people buy packs or dig it finally get it and its nerfed to crap. Examples:

Excal
Pbp
Saber
Bone sword

Remember when M16 was out? :D Bill Smith and I dug to 10k and I bought it, it was so fast. Then by admins used their "logic" and raised the price and(you could hav guessed it) they nerfed it.

I was just pking with it, it's terrible. Right now it's basically a Taurus with more clip, spread, and less damage.

The item description is "very fast" and that's highly misleading.

I assure you, this is on my "fix list"

It's for this reason that my plan is to go through every melee and determine their worth based on how they were obtained, how much they were purchased for, and their special qualities(degree of knockback, etc.).

By 'worth', I'm talking about their damage, freeze, and timeout between attacks.

Yeah- I'm also going to look into this.
The fact that it's got the shield will definitely carry weight on its stats, that's no reason for its offensive properties to be worse than a regular shotgun.

Oh, and I don't know if I've brought this up yet, but I plan on also nerfing Olympic Rings. I had the misfortune to go against one, and for what it cost when the shop was out, it certainly shouldn't be as powerful as it currently is. I don't believe any item should be that powerful.
To clear up any confusion, 'powerful' is in reference to the weapon as a whole, I don't plan on changing the damage. Probably just adding a reasonable freeze, and skewing its spread a tad bit.

fair enough with the weight distribution but do something for the block rate and fire damage... because that's where the KSG lacks from..

Oops lol, when I said "carry weight", I didn't mean it literally.
I meant that the fact that it has a special ability(shield that blocks) will warrant an impediment on one of its other assets, but not as heavily impact the damage as it currently is; that's abit overkill. It's currently useless as a weapon, and its current block isn't a good enough percentage to excuse such poor damage.
Especially for the price of it.

Though, since you accidentally brought it up: it would be a decent idea to add the handicap of 'slowing you down' when the shield is enabled; and in that event I could see reason to increase the block percentage; to cope for the increased vulnerability.

Also, when it's a decent weapon, I'm down for the idea of having the shield require a routine repairing, based on how much damage it takes. More damage taken without repair = less block percentage.

its already slow, snake added the slow freeze rate whilst carrying the shield it makes you go slow right now at this very point.. but if you can increase the block percentage and the damage percentage the KSG will be balanced.

And to whoever said bamboo needs to have the same stats as saber, except 2 less damage: no. Bamboo should not deflect. Everything else would be fine though

Buff the MK23's. They're useless. Decrease the freeze and sleep, to compensate lower the damage by one or two.

New nerf upgraded to saber and umbrella no deflection... It makes us owners of them items so proud and happy...
