My other iPod is jailbroken, but not my main one. I use it to get apps that have been removed or aren't on iTunes store. I also use it to look at iFile.

hey im trying to jailbreak a ipod 2g running on 4.2.1 its been jailbroken 3 times before.. but all green poisen is doing is saying failed. or try agin. any help ?

Jailbreaking can be nice. I just use it on my 2G. Might also use it on my 4G but don´t think so since it just increases lagging.

i have ... it dont work on 4.2.1 . .. ps that was my fist jailbreak method.. it lagged crap up like hell tho

Yep I am in the exact same situation as you only that I have jailbroken my 2nd gen on 4.2.1 only once before and I can do it again for some reason I do all the dfu stuff as u said, and I still have no results...

my first jailbreak was with my iPod 3g on 3.3.1 with spirit from comex that was one of the best jailbreaks you but it on the pc klick on jailbreak me and wait 1-2min and you'r done :D

Tip to all the Jailbreakers out there: Jailbreaken devices are gonna have a pretty hard time purchasing gralats. It loads longer than your usual time

It always takes it´s time. Yes on older devices a little bit more but even on my 4G without JB it took it´s time restoring stuff.

No... I meant it takes about 3-5 minutes to purchase a gralat pack... And thats on my iphone that was JB...

With JB, takes minutes

JB makes itunes harder to reach to the Graal Classic app due to its jailbroken systemboard
The systemboard makes running apps a whole lot easier... JB adds pressure and more memory onto it

hmm jail breaking fairly easy green-poison the best i believe i just tweak my iPod like change boot animation or make my iPod 2g useful.. my ipod is fast and if u have jail broken apps make sure to download app-sync and iTunes would not remove them.

First of all you may wanna recheck te test on the gralats pavks since it got changed if you would have read the news becauee some people were using something to get free packs so that is most likely the problem for that and yes a VIP account works on jailbroke device

good!!!!! and it takes no difference in time to get the graalats delivered to you acc.. if it takes a while move closer to your WiFi transmitter

O rlly? I had my 3rd gen and it took about 30sec-1min to buy 4 $8 gralat packs. Are you sure it's just not your apps? Because I had about 20 apps on that thing until I restored it.

I know this is an old thread, but i typed the keyword "iPad" because i'm looking for advice. I'm thinking about getting one because i generally think it'd be an improvement to my iPod 3G. I'm just wondering, what's Graal like on an ipad? And what do you mean by "it would be a dump"? haha

thats weird, my 4G iPod is jailbroken and whenever I buy a gralat pack (rarely) its almost instant.

i don´t want too be mean to the hackers or glitchers but the only reason why they do it is they have no skills and they jailbraiking theyr devices to abuse bugs what noobish is
it´s not a reason for me to jailbraking only my device for a game...
and many instalious, cydia apps are malware...

Cydia Apps come from Repos (short for Repositories), what that means is that you can install an app from a unknown repo and get a real bad stuff, or you can install from a well known/popular repos and you will be SAFE. like xsellize. Of course like anything else once in a while some malicious developer can leak undesired app to any repo (even the Official AppStore have posted undesired apps). You just have to be smart and dodge em.

When I jailbreak I really just use it to personalize my iPod and get free apps from the app store. Any paid app for free!

a easyier way is to go to jailbreakme.com (on your device) and then slide the lock on the screen and BAMB! your done and no none of my idevices are jailbroken and i would not like them to be
