Pre-ordered it and bought all map packs prior >=]

I am excited for this game with the info provided about it. Halo Reach ruined halo for me by killing the BR for the DMR and those dumb abilities.

Halo 4 is bringing back the BR and seems to have better armor abilities for combat not just hiding.

What are your thoughts on the return of Master Chief?

Furthermore I heard they have made a movie and are releasing it the day before the game's release (November 5th for movie, 6th for game)

Halo Reach abilities weren't for hiding... Many of them were for actual combat, the only one that was for hiding was camouflage. And even though they took out the BR which I do love and enjoy to play with, the DMR is actually a great weapon to use in Team Swat one shot one kill rather then 3 shot burst and hope at least one of them got the head. @Eric Halo: Reach had zombies for multiplayer. But yes I hoppe to get money and purchase halo 4 yet I can't preorder.

I dont mean living dead I mean zombies that look like gross dead people not yellow spartans.

That is living dead in Halo 4 its just that now you will look like that when you get infected.

You shouldnt of watched them if you pre ordered considering the pre order pack comes with all forward onto dawn episodes in full hd, my friends waiting till he gets it b4 he watches them.

Also the people on the show are so dumb, i mean theyre in a world where earth was recently invaded by aliens in halo 3... And they dont even know that the aliens exist, since in the series theyre being trained to fight insurgents (rebels rlly) and dont even know who master chief is, i mean COMAWNG

This is 40 years before halo 4, so, its way before halo 3. This is just before the events of halo 1.

I would give Matchmaking an 8.9
It's definitely different than the previous Halos but it's fun. It's like a weird mix between Halo 3 and Reach but in a good way.

Haven't played campaign and probably won't for a while.

Are you silly Forward unto Dawn is before reach that is why at the end of it you see Lasky as an old man. That is also why chief is not known.

However the Halo 4 storyline goes against FUD because chief meets Lasky and says " Nice to meet you" rather than hi ore something

Multi player is also bad ass. They remade the sound for all the guns, makes a huge improvement towards game play. Whenever I shoot someone it just sounds like I am doing damage.

Got it played only multiplayer and it was great! But I am mostly interested for the story or should I say love story for John and Cortana <3

Love the multiplayer. I'm going to hold off from the campaign. I was going to play it with someone. Like many people, I did not get my pre-order bonus from Gamestop.

The ending to the campaign is awful.

Playing solo legendary, took a break because I was getting frustrated.

Finished Campaign Very SAD Ending! But I still have questions! Where is the Arbiter? What happened to him? Where is Commander Keys? I was about to cry me a river! The acting of Cortana was amazing!!! I can feel the love between them T-T

I don't really like halo 4's online much. Its way, way, to fast paced and competitive. They seem to know that everyone is playing war based first person shooters like COD and battlefield, so they are trying to make it feel more like those games. It doesn't really feel like halo. Halo is supposed to have a laid back sense to it while still being competitive to some extent. Halo to me is crushing ghosts with an elephant on sandtrap , or running around screwing **** up with an energy sword on rat race. Not grinding kills to get a better weapon or working to get your rank up. Those are incentives, yes, but i feel like those things are way too much of a main focus in halo 4.

Also the campaign was pretty good, but it was sort of short and at times very repetitive. Eg; take out those 3 things to make this thing happen was over half of the missions.

I loved the competitive mode. The thing I want in Halo 4 that was in Halo 3 was Skill Level. Only the most competitive should be allowed to gain exclusive armor for their time and dedication to the game.

What they really need to do is just bring back some of the old multiplayer gamemodes from halo 3 like swat and all that

What I can not really stand are all the vehicles placed on any of the maps like on Valhalla (never gonna call it Ragnarok) just way to many there you end up getting run over the whole time

Meh campaign was OK overall i prefer halo 3s campaign with the epic scarab tank battles on huge maps making you feel like you were in a war, they tried this with the mammoth tank level, but it wasnt fun having to travel on an invinsible car to then get off and press like 5 buttons and destroy 6 shields etc. I hated how every mission involved you having to press at least 5 buttons, it almost felt like a fetch quest, over and over, "go to 3 spires, press 3 buttons, go to a last spire, press more buttons".

To the multiplayer, i liked it, the gui/interface is abit bad imo, i preffered the map list, with players on the side, (just looks messy to me) the gameplay is nice just again this is my opinion but i dont like how theres no weapons on the map besides the ones you choose to start with and the ones from occassional ordinance drops. Also the maps i didnt like ;( theyre all the same type, i missed huge, awesome looking maps from halo 3 and reach like forgeworld, sandtrap and the other cool ones. On the otherhand, alot of the armour ive seen looks pretty cool, visors look **** tho ;p but the helmet/armour is cool, reach's commando/recon is still better. And finally, NO UNSC FLYING VEHICLES!!???? where is my falcon, where is it? No falcon only frekin banshees, at least we got mega OP mechs that take 3 spartan lasers to kill that have rocket launchers and chain guns

Also the jetpack only last like 3 secounds ;(

Only thing ill admit about the campaign is flying that pelican, falconyjet thingy and those other cool vehicles were epic

Multiplayer 7/10

I must admit i do destroy at multiplayer :p first match i played i came first with 32 kills and 3 deaths, then went on to win 6 more matches in a row

I agree the campaign got really redudant with the constant, go press this button or go destroy this point. It was a solid campaign though considering its 343's first time. Also (campaign spoilers)

Sounds like you want them to just recreate the Halo 3 multiplayer :/
We live in a CoD world and I think they were kinda forced to add sprint for everyone and up the kill times a little bit or else the multiplayer would feel dated to anyone who isnt a long time Halo player.
I enjoy it though, I love spawning with stickys and my choice of weapon, no more AR starts. I could live without sprint and prom. vision though which almost kills the purpose of crouching anymore.
