Why Graal is down.
 

As you all can see , the Graal servers are all down because at around tive thirty A.M eastern standard time , a hacker spawned multiples of millions of dollars of Era Pc cash , and could do other things that where pretty cool xd . Well anyways , thought you guys should know , i'm thinking the server will be back up in a hour or so.

May I ask how you got to know this classified information and which reliable source from?

so why should that affect the whole graal (iservers and PC servers)? i dont think at all that this is true. the servers simply crashed i think

Er , i was on Era pc at around 5 am , and i'm pking nubs at hospital , than i get a 200,000$ drop from him and i'm like... Wtf? Than a administrator warps to me and says that the kid is a hacker *i see the kid i just killed start warping around and laughing* so the money was confiscated , meh i hunted the kid and overall he leaked maybe around 1.7 mil which was all given to administration.

thats not a reason to shut down ALL servers. the servers either got DDoS'd or crashed.

Weyul , let's start with the program he used to get things cracking for him , it's called something like a insertion or something , and it's undetectable by the Graals Shield against all dem botting programs and cheat engines - take time to add this to the shield before this kid comes to iEra and starts a inflation.

This wouldnt cause iOS to go down too, hed have to have influenced all servers in eneral. So unless he breached graalonline in general and made himself staff on every single server, its impossible that this caused it. You may not know but the iOS servers are gone too.

LOL he crashed Era Pc server , imagine every centimeter if Era havung a napalm triggered at the same tine for a few hundred times. It almost caused my pc to crash , sorry rofl.

Ok, this is just extreme bullsh*it. They wouldn't shut down EVERY SINGLE server just because of someone hacking into Era itself. This Kero guy just wants to be the centre of attention is my guess of why he made this thread as his self explanation is FALSE!!!

There was a hacker on era pc, kero isn't lying about that; the staff on there have been working to track down all them money. I doubt however that they woudl shut down all the servers over it. My guess is it was a ddos attack.

Yes it is true, I was on pc era all yesterday and today and there was a great big commotion about it, he broke lots of ATMs and stole a ****load of money. Apparently 3m was given to 3 different people when it happened. However since this happened way before the server crash I don't think it has anything to happen with every server being shut down.

sweet! So since the main servers were completely deleted does that mean that the wip servers like kingdoms, zone, and delteria will be only ones on ios now? (Since the staff would move over and help prepare those servers?) Oh btw if graal never gets back up i feel bad for those kids who spent hundreds of dollars on it. ~Yes im optimistic! :D

Well, it could be something like a hacker attack. Although, another valid reason could be maintenance. They've been working on getting graal to work on Windows 8, so they probably are putting all of the fixes into action.

Distributed Denial of Service

Basically, it's when someone overloads a server with so many packets the server just refuses all other connections and crashes itself.

Ok, just looked up DDoS, for all you (like me) who didn't know what it is this is a simple explanation (according to Wikipedia and my own understating of it) A DDoS is a "Denial of Service Attack" which can wipe the server (clear it) or temporarily suspend it from use (stop you from using it for a while) it's hacking
