iDevice

I'm not to fond of the iDevice I only own a 2gen iPod, but which would run Graal the Best.

a 32GB iPhone 4S or

a 16GB iPhone 5?

I plan on getting a new phone soon and would like to know which would run the games I play the best.

The iPhone 5 should have a faster processor, except the app isn't optimized for the screen size.

The new option to zoom in and out on the screen, may help with that.

By processor do you mean the a6 Chip or Nano-Sim Card?

An A6 chip.

The size of the device's drive does not affect it's performance at all. iPhone 5 will run it the fastest.

Assuming i5 has more RAM, it's faster.

A-whatnow?! That's better than what's in a iPad :0 what confuses me here is how 4g devices can run iPhone 5 optimized apps when they have a much less powerful... Everything, especially in iTouchs :0

A computer.

I'll buy the iPhone 5.

General_s2 11-13-2012 09:18 AM

Because the iPhone 5 has more RAM than the 4S it should run faster.

Ventus277 11-13-2012 07:25 PM

Ok thanks for the info guys, sorry for not replying sooner.

RedBoy786* 11-13-2012 09:04 PM

iPhone 5.

I would prefer the 4S since it probably runs smoother, who wants to waste an extra $100 on a iPhone with a half inch bigger screen. But that's just my preference.

It's actually an extra 50 price wise. An extra 100 for the exact amount of memory.

The A6 chip is not that much better than the A5, moores law is slowing down and apple cant fit faster processors into smaller areas anywhere near close to the same extent that they used to be able to. Silicon is reaching its limits, it wont be until a while from now that we will start seeing substantial differences between generations like the first few iphones again.

Yes, moores law is taking effect. It started to quite a long time ago when 2 GHz became a baseline for cheap computers, and companies started boasting how many cores their processors have. However, the iPhone 5 scores a 1601 in geekbench while the 4S scores a mere 632.
