Some era related FAQs and guides for simple thins I'm asked a lot by new players.

-I just got scammed!

Try not to do drop trades, because unfortunately there isn't much any one can do about scams. The best you can do is just not drop trade at all unless you REALLY trust the other person. Remember, If it sounds too good to be true, It probably is.

-I just bought a gralat pack and didn't receive it!

Try restarting or relaunching the app. If this doesn't work, check to see if you were charged for the gralat pack. If you were email [email protected] exactly what happened for more assistance.

-What are transparencies?

Transparencies are what you set on any graphic to make the background invisible. So if you made a head on a template, you need to get rid of the boxes behind your image right? well setting a transparency makes the boxes in the background invisible.

-How do I make a head or body?

1. Save the body or head template I attached to this thread
2. Open it in what ever program you prefer like Paint, Paint.net, Gimp
3.edit the body or head template the way you want your head or body to look (Yes you have to do this to every image on the template)
4. set transparencies (If you can't do this I can or when you upload it there will be a box that says "Set transparency")
5.upload at Tinyurl.com/graalerauploads
6. Enjoy the head or body

(NEVER USE 000 (COMPLETE) BLACK ON A CUSTOM OR IT WILL HAVE INVISIBLE SPOTS)

-I just bought a head pack and didn't get the heads. Why is that?

You need to have The + version or the customization pack.

-How do I get cool shields?

Mainly, you have to ask players the code they used to get the shield. once they tell you what the code is (let's say it was shield1.png) you have to type setshield shield1.png

-How do I upload a custom?

After making the body, go to tinyurl.com/GraalEraUploads
then, pick the body you want to upload and wait patiently for it to be uploaded. (you have to have $20,000 for a head, $10,000 for a body, and $2500 for a shield.)

The part about not receiving head packs you have bought is false. All you need is the customization pack.

Oh, by the way, pure black (#000000) can be used if you set the transparencies properly.

I generally just try never to use it and most people don't know how to use transparencies so might as well tell them to stay away from complete black all together lol

True white can't be used either

thank you for taking the time to type this all out for people. Dunno why people are attacking you/jumping on you for it. You are only trying to better the people playing the game by providing them knowledge, which many people on these forums lack.

Because it's very obvious, some people call themselves Era Helpers and donaters and paste it everywhere in hope of an admin seeing it, it's the sad truth, many of the so-called helpers doing Youtube videos and publicity are all doing it for their own agenda.
Maybe that guy ain't sucking up, but some people are taking it too far also doing X for PR shields, that's called trying too hard. *cough cough* Weird *cough cough*

it's a lot like a celebrity giving out money to the poor. people twist it to be a publicity stunt when some people (astonishingly) just have good hearts :/

Well, I prefer someone helping others without boasting about it e.g. helped 25 players and counting. This is something I learnt in my religion too, التفاخر بالعطاء is when someone helps an individual in need then goes and tells everyone he helped x out. This means he's doing it for the publicity.
Well, as I pointed out earlier maybe you aren't doing it for your own agenda, but you're actually trying to help, I'm sorry if so, but there are too many fake helpers these days.

I have an idea: why not be professional and add a guide/FAQ section in the in game menu? Then a server message about it can be programmed to be sent to all players twice a week.

I don't blame you for coming to that conclusion though since there are a LOT of people who really do do it for a publicity stunt; But I guess it doesn't matter what they're motives are as long as they're helping :P

With bodies, you can use any color for any setting, so long as it's indexed correctly in the palette.

If you are new and wanna know how to get money there are a lot of jobs u can do like digging for shells,picking mushrooms,finding trash,and making pizza =).

Please stop posting things like this, or make your own thread. New players have to go through a tutorial that already explains that.
