Has the tommy gun took a nerf or is the server glitching as when i shoot it it shoots 2 bullets auto then stops. Is it a glitch or the worst nerf ever.

It wasn't just Morano Thompson. All guns that are auto fire have a weird 2 burst shot glitch. Not sure if it was intentional but the auto fire is really messed up now.

That sucks.

Agreed, if its a nerf then it needs to be cut back a bit most expensive gun in the game, no where near represents automatic, and controls are mostly unresponsive.

Thompson isn't the most expensive, BAR is.

Well, it really is the Gas Gun - but that's EC.

It is effecting all weapons that are automatic my Bar, m16, and my lovely ak.

Meph has done great so far and just because of this I will not give up faith in him. You all have been saying how nice it is that a staff member is listening to our opinions and you quickly turn on him. This is most likely why staff never use these forums anymore is because you guys are quick to play the blame game with no facts. Kindly use skill or play a different game if this has you so upset and wait until facts are given before cursing at someone and saying they suck, when they spend hours of their personal life trying to make the game better.

My opinion on this hasnt changed since they messed up my Shipka. It's FRAUD. Then, now and always. Doesn't stop them from doing it and getting away with it.

If someones BAR, or any gun costing over $20 in US Dollars got nerfed, which it did, US law states it is legal to sue over this in civil court. Although graals based in the UK.

how about you make a good weapon system like I did, beforehand, so with my weapon system, players dont pay for something that ends up not being what it was when they bought it. you dont go and buy a ferrari and walk into your garage in a week and find its been replaced by the car dealership with a jeep.

look at the history, not only have prices changed, but the firing rate, freeze, spread, what the weapons can and cannot be used in, the guns admins never balanced any of it, despite the fact they let other staff run around and "test" the weapons, some of which never end up coming out because they were never balanced and they never devoted the time to balancing the whole system at once.

perhaps if you actually did your job right like i did, you wouldnt have these problems that need fixing.


real money has been payed for the items, that were bought on the premise the gun would be the way it was released, if you change a weapon, you need to refund that weapon, or remove that weapon from sale and sell a new version of it.

they did not do this, they broke one of the sacred rules of videogames. in a game like this, with this system, nerfing and trying to "balance" single weapons at a time, that have already been released, its just not going to work. its not right, i know that, thats why i designed my weapons system all set up and balanced, so ill never do that to players.

how many years of experience do i have? hardly any, never even been on rc myself, as i never owned gold, yet by knowing videogames, knowing how to make things fair, knowing stats, knowing to prepare, i was able to set up a great unique fair customizable weapons system.

it wasnt that hard for me to do, now explain how a iphone server with the playerbase it has is in the right to fail so miserably to do that correctly.

it isnt right, and until you get refunds for the weapons, keep fighting, give snk and meph a piece of your mind, they will learn eventually when they have a community filled with hate towards their actions.

meph is the guns admin, its under his jurisdiction, and its also under snks as the manager, if its a bug, its pretty bad that such a big "bug" has not yet been addressed by them, let alone fixed.

I agree with Jester. Don't blame Meph without having the full story. He's probably not answering due to fixing the problem or he doesn't know about it yet.

If he isn't the only one other than the higher ups with access to the gun files, why can't one of them fix it? Plus why would people other than the gun admins and the upper staff have access to it?

Anyone should have accsess to those stats but only gun admin and manager change them.

Only the higher ups do have access to the stats, I was just saying it's not like only Meph could have changed them.

Well considering I didn't bash Meph and I haven't paid any real money to play in about a year, I'd consider myself to be in a category all my own. Just because I play the same game as children doesn't make me one.

I don't consider disagreeing with policy to be bashing but whatever. You're arguing just to argue. The gun admin, whether he or anyone else likes it or not, is ultimately responsible for gun problems including but not limited to dissatisfied customers and their complaints.

Infernus, there is reasons why cloyd left the guns as they where, so many players complaning on how " Too much Spam " or " Extremly high fire rate " was used to win, he notched the guns with a portion of freeze, so the spar can be fair. . .
i.e If BlasterX was currently Guns Admin of iEra, guns would have an abundance of freeze.

This is a bug that I was under the impression was fixed- evidently it's not because I logged on to be spammed by people asking why I nerfed their BAR/PBP/Famas.

None of these guns have been touched, and their functionality will be reverted exactly the way they were.

I'll let Snk know things are still acting funky and use this thread as reference.

Again, sorry for the inconvenience, and this past week's inactivity.
I'm not sure if many of you are aware, but I work in a Bakery, and Thanksgiving is one of the busiest weeks of the year.

In addition, I've had essays due with school, and been working on a new gun for Thanksgiving, so my 'Graal time' has been spent in paint or Graal Shop.

Hopefully this is remedied sooner than later-- Morano Thompson's one of my personal favorites.

I just checked the code from the dev server which is exactly the same o-O

EDIT - I added something in the item system a few weeks back to stop the reload glitch. I have a check of 0.5 which I've reduced to 0.25 - give that a go?
