ec for money? personaly i hate the idea... however, what if we reversed it?

Some guy will buy a million gralats to get a saber and everyone will have hunters, katanas, bamboos, AC, etc don't you see? Even if they have a rediculous price like that which I personally wouldn't think about doing, there will be a bunch (somtimes the majority) who will just buy GRALAT packs and get what they want no matter how much it costs

Personally I actually like ec for money more, just the fact that you can get some money off your extra unwanted ec or say you just got one by luck and you can't get anymore then you could transfer it to money as your reward

It's not a bad idea guys. The only problem would be tweaking the price. 10k gralats is too much. 500 - 1k is much better.

I say you should be able to sell your ec for 2k

The only problem with EC sales is the ease in which EC hoarders will generate gralats, given the price is high. 2k might be too much. Caution is necessary in these matters. Hmmm, should I get kiwi blade or Sten... Hmmm.

This thread is confusing... So the thread is called "ec for money", but it's about money for ec? And even then, do you pay money for ec? Do you get money for ec? Both? Please be a little more specific.

also, ten thousand is just way too many gralats. maximum selling price should be 1000 and minimum of 500, in my opinion.

He was setting an amount you would get for each EC based on how much they went for at auction

well, i realize that now, its just his wording and sentence structure kinda threw me off a little bit. itdve helped if he said "sell" or "buy" somewhere instead of "for" so much.

the idea is this: you could trade ec in and in return you would recieve money...

there was two reasons I said 10K:
1.people bought asome at an action for like 100k so it must be worth at least 10k
2.also t5he majority of players cant win ec easily so making it worth it to all players would mean you'd have to get something like 5-10k for each one you trade in.

Ec should be something you earn. Something you are proud of and you deserve it when you win. Unlike half of the people with bars who used itunes, then think they are amazing because they have so many kills.

I kinda like the idea of selling ecs, but not as much as I used to.
1) achievements + selling ecs + transferring stats = infinite gralats
2) 10,000 is a ton, considering everyone gets quite a lot from achievements
3) ecs are already a different type of currency, and they should be kept that way

No, first of all they patched the transfering Event coin with the 5 ez achievements and they will do they ez achievements, sell their Event coin and merge accounts.

You should have to sell a minimum of like 5 ec because then people can't sell their "achievement" ec. So you would have to earn like 1 or 2 ec just to sell them.

I think ec should be a secondary currency. Yu could use it to buy gralat stuff as well, and the event shop remains ec only. So for like 1 ec you could 5 of one piece of furniture or something, and if you only want 1 sell the 4 for profit.

he (Poorface) means that you get achievement ecs, sell them for a good 50k gralats then transfer to a main account, bam, you got 50k more gralats. then repeat the process until you get bored and youre crazy rich.

The problem with this idea is that it puts a price on ec items. kinda like auctioning katanas and stuff.

Not really if you just kept the events shop ec only. Thats my opinion. Not sure if i fully understand the point though.

katana would be labled as 35k.
hunter as 20k

and so on.

At 10k for one EC, you could get the BAR at 20 EC... If this does ever get added it should be much lower.

Ah i see, thank you. Yes i think that would make this ec conversion idea a bad thing. Its like a staffer making BAR only 25k, tons of people will do whatever it takes to get it.

Honestly, two currencies don't fit well together in my opinion, but the idea isn't bad.

You wouldn't sell your ECs to players. Only to the EC shop. How would selling EC get you EC items? Doesn't make sense.
