How to Name a Guild so it isnt Nooby.
 

Not sure if this goes in the guild section, or Guides, I'll just put it here i guess.

This is a guide on how to make a cool guild name that isnt stupid and will attract a lot of people to join.

-Don't spell things wrong in your guild name.
-Don't use 1337 w0rd5.
-Dont put "xX" , "zZ" , or any other letters like that in front or behind of your guild name.
-Use correct capitalization.
-DoNt WrItE wOrDs LiKe ThIs.
-Never ever steal fragments of original names. like "Soul of" "Chain of" "Gospel" etc.
-Dont use the words School, Academy, Agency, or Modeling.

Using less words can sometimes make your guild sound better. Names to get the point across. I would say up to 3-4 words would be ok to use, anything over that is a bit much.

If my guild name was jazz, would that be offended by the no zz rule?

This is the worst guide of all time.

zZ FATAL Zz is breaking your supposed rule but got 2.6k hours.

VeNuS GoSpEl was successful in sPeLlInG tHiNgS LiKe tHiS. In my opinion, not saying urs is bad. But i think people truly join guilds based on guild pic, the leader, and the gnews. Anyways, thats just my opinion.

My guild, "noob". Best name.

My favorites were astro, Reign, Project Soul, and Enguard.

Magic and In Motion are cool names

In motion is a ****ing terribad name in my opinion because of the ****ing capitalisation.

They reached their goal, they're top 3 in the guild list on classic. Thats what you call a successful guild no matter how kiddish the name is. They did good.

I choose anbu because i hate long sentenced names and also it doesn't have any weird shiz in it. Its just...i feel like its original. One word, plain and simple.

I'm not exactly sure because it was so long ago aha we was just glad to reach 1k, we aimed for being in top 15 & ended up being the 13th guild to get :smile:

Anbu came way before all those copy cats. The people who own those guilds just decided to follow along and copy timesh1ft. And as for the venus gospel thing, i do admit it would've been better without the HuLoHYsbPdieb stuff. Just Venus Gospel would've been nice. Guess aster just wanted to be "different"

Don't name your guild Soul of Ninjas. Simple as that.

I agree with this guide, short, sweet, clean guild names. Also things you and your guild can relate to . Like voyage and using pirate ranks and subs and such. I also like abbreviations like com, vg, and son, sounds proffesional. Or atleast, more proffesional..

The bottom line is, make your gang/guild name mean something. Whether it be a favorite media or something made up.

pretty good advice actually, I would use a name generator based on what subject you want your guild based off of. I have some advice to.. off of the subject/objective of your guild, be sure not to name your guild opposite of that. For example, if your objective is to take towers and kill people in a fiery blaze, it is best not to have your guild name be flower children, or peace lovers.

My guild name "Notorious" seems to work. Also, Ventrue is a nice short name.
