How to spot scammers in Graal Era
 

Hello, welcome to my guide to spot scams in Graal Era, hope you enjoy it and learn one or two information about it.

Level 1 Scammers
They are a scammer if these apply
-Asking you to drop first
-Randomly asking to trade
-Randoms who say to lend your items

These are easy to spot and easy to deal with, now on to...

Level 2 Scammers
-Asking to do sametime in his or your house
-Asking to do sametime in public ( unless they say Spar Complex )

These are better scammers, they have second accounts or they have lag

Level 3 Scammers
-Hosting a auction, these people ask many people to come to their house to do auction. ( Warning! They may seem legit, but they are just friends doing a fake trade )
-Asking to trade in your house and start hiding in trees, then they come out ( they acutally summon their friends or second accounts under the tree hiding so they can scam )
Level 3 Scammers are hard to spot and you may be tempted

Level 4 Scammers
-These are scammers pretending to be your friends, however after 2 weeks they scam you
-Doing a small legit trade first, before doing a big time scam on you
These are hard to believe but they are scammers if you find a person being too nice to you, however they may be exceptions. :\

Level 5 Scammers
The following is not shown, in respect to a few gangs

These kind of people have lots of connection, including admin ones, they can't really be spotted. They may look kind on the outside but withn inside they are the hardcore scammers.


Note: Your friends can't be trusted.
About me: I am Nezo Calamity Shins on Graal Era, I got scammed many times, I decided to join gangs like GoonSquad, Mercy, XOXO. I have found many stories for them.

A: No one is, even me. I scammed a Morgan before

A: You can find Jeni, Weird or myself ( don't trade super super rares, I may be tempted)

Q: Why no trading systems?
A: Due to the developers ( if you want a full explanation, you can check other threads)

The human is weak, we all have scammed once.

I've always asked to drop first, haven't scammed yet, so this guide can be biased.

I've never scammed one person, truthfully. It's because I don't drop.

I have never scammed. Not everyone is out for your items. Most people are, but not everyone.

Confession time: when I still played iEra I was a huge scammer. I scammed just about everything droppable that I had. I loved it. Since I had so much time in the game most people didn't think I would scam. Then I would have tons of my friends help me. I loved every minute of it. I'm an aas.

Yes these are people likely not to scam,
Weird: Just trade normal rares with him ( heard stories of him scamming )
Jeni: You can pretty much trust her up to a super rare, but I trust her 100% though

I thought I would be never be scammed and I've been scammed by a level 5 scammer :L I tend not to trade much anymore as ill fayul :L

Yeah, I agree it can be biased. I really try not to go first because I always get scammed. But it sucks that people don't believe that you (as in me or whoever) doesn't scam.

Here's some more tips: if they ask for you to inv them to your house(public trade), withouth any sign of u goin in the house without him, he's using that to bring u in the house when u drop he can quickly take it .

Why not the era map with a big red circle around it?
Also, people will get you to invite them twice to your house-
Saying that they sat down.

I've never scammed because I don't feel the need to make someone feel bad over a pixel item lol. I also only do middle man trades ONLY for lapse members plus I have anything I could want already

Guys...most of you know I exited the middlewoman trading business when Banshee managed a scam at my house and I replaced the super rare the trader lost because I felt bad. With that known, please stop spamming me, begging me, etc to do one last trade for you. Truth is it took up most of my time and was stressful at times not to mention annoying, waiting for indecisive traders. Please also do not pm me and say scamming has now increased in era, complaining you were scammed because I wouldnt host, etc either. I did it to help friends and it turned into some huge era trading process with random strangers advertising their trades at my house from Start. Scamming sucks, it has been done to me more times than I care to admit....I dont scam, never have, never will. Just be careful and if loosing your item may upset you, dont risk it.
