Now they change the way gang pictures are, what is next?
Banning the chat and give us a pre selected sentence to use?
Removing blood?
Removing Ganis?
Must well remove Guns and Swords
Why? Gun and Swords are violent

i saw you can't change your gang picture (only i facebook i think), but is that the only change they made to it?

The new rules on gang pictures were added as a measure of protection.
The game advertises its age to be 9+ on the app store to gain playercount.

If somebody puts something inappropriate as their gang picture, and a parent comes across it, they could fire off an email to apple and then we're off the App Store listing.

To my knowledge, you can still upload pictures, it just has to be approved by a PR.

This is all about player count? Seriously who wants to play with 9 year olds? If Graal wants a bigger playercount there are many more ways to do it then have to resort to getting 9 year old players where they must be overally protected. How about advertising Graal and not expect players to magically find a small game like Graal? Also I would like to know how iservers on Graal lasted 2-3 years without this new gang/guild picture upload system? Why now all of a sudden it must be done?

I'm sorry? Last time i checked, layerd, fatal, vera, and a few others reply to pm's within minutes of receiving one.

Makes no sense to me to alienate and handicap the older players just because some tween pervs whose parents think an iPod qualifies as a babysitter decided to post pics of genitalia, theirs or otherwise.

As I've said before, Era's target playerbase (older players with actual money) is slowly shrinking because of the accommodations made to these fools and will continue to do so until Era is nothing but scamming beggars looking for a gf. Enjoy!

Considering they're are probably more players under the age of 14 then players over the age of 14. They are doing whats best to keep things in check. Besides, why would you need to change your gp so many times. It's just like waiting for a custom upload. Just be patient, waiting for a gp approal is not going to kill you.

You're taking things a little far. These new rules are in place because of those ****ING ASSHOLES. If they leave, Era would actually be a nice place. But that won't happen.

Anyway, I can appreciate the reasons for the change. I have no issue with it really... I just wish graal would market themselves better and sell their program in stores. Or, sell some kind of "gralats card" that gives you X amount of gralats. Little things like that can inspire interest in stores and attract the unlikely. I love pixelated games. These just haven't met their full potential yet.

I stated in another thread that this is Stefan's decision, no one else's so complaining here does nothing as he does not use these forums. As for the complaining and needless, but unavoidable whining, let me put things in perspective for you.

You make graphics and want to show your friends? It takes what, a minute to 10 minutes for approval? If your graphic only took you 1-10 minutes, it is not worth showing off. I am sure you take longer than this to make quality work, and you don't need to change your gang pic every second of the day.

You want people to rate your gp of you shirtless or some pic you found off Google? Sucks for you. There is an app called Kik however, and you can show all the internet strangers your Google pics there.

You use your gang pic for "customers" to your graphics stealing/editing charade and need to change every 30 seconds to show options? Make a blog like everyone else who does that has done. It shows the image better and you can see multiple at once.

You want to complain just to complain? Yea, what's new.

I personally, like this update. I don't have to look at random gangs and worry about stumbling upon some 14 year old players pipi or some 13 year old girl standing provocatively in a mirror for some attention she misses in real life. These things are called child pornography, and is essentially illegal and could cause Graal legal trouble for hosting it.

So tell me, what's better? Losing Graal in the app store all together or losing a feature you don't even need? Make a Graal Facebook like 2000+ of the community and share your pictures that way instead of crying. In the end this WILL NOT CHANGE, so why waste time trying to push a mountain?

Removing self upload guild pictures wasn't "over protective"

you basically could upload porn(or illegal ones for that matter) and staff wouldn't even know about it unless you were reported.

by giving it a upload limit they will actually be used for logos and not picture spam/sharing

Can't currently upload unless using FB which I won't bother touching. Le custom head will be my Gp for awhile.

Honestly; theres no need to change your gp so often. Just wait and go pick up trash or spar while you wait for your gp to be approved.

I dont generally change my gp often I just had a custom head on there and updated the same day, to find I dont even have the option in the new update.

I click on my gang picture to change it and I get a pop-up saying "We are currently updating this feature blah blah facebook you can blah blah". I have no idea how to play graal facebook so, what do I do?

This post made me laugh a bit. I fail to see how not buying packs relates to guild pictures. Care to explain it to me?

Well, I don't think it takes roughly a week to update gang pictures to be approved by a Player Relation.

If Era, a shooter game, sucks because you can't change your gpic every other minute, you are on the wrong game.

How about they remove the app so they don't need to deal with your girly problems anymore?
