Christmas Gift Submissions 2012
 

I've been doing this Christmas presents thing for four years now; the first two years were on a PC server named Unholy Nation, you might have heard of it. Each year we have had content made, but have also opened it up to the help of the global graphics community. This year will be no different and I don't think that something like this should be exclusive to 'the Initiative' group.

We have four present categories: tough, smart, cool, cute. If you would like to make a hat that would fit into one of these categories then by all means do! Usually I just make sure that the people who submit a hat will receive their hat, but this year I am going to give a choice of that or 10,000g -- useful for buying gifts!

If you wish to participate you've only got a couple of days to submit. I should have opened it up sooner but I didn't. Deadline is 24th of December. You can submit by uploading your image to a website (such as http://imgur.com) and sending it to me in a private message OR e-mail it to [email protected] and it'll get passed on to me.

Got lots of decent artists on this site, looking forward to see if we get anyone repping it.

Is there any limit of hats you need/is there a limit of hats being sent in by one person?

There isn't a limit to how many hats you need. I wouldn't say there is a limit to how many hats you can submit either, but only those whose hats are used will receive something. Quality trumps quantity.

Oh no, I mean a limit of hat YOU sir need. As in you choose only ten hats for every category.

And does this means if I sent in ten hats and every hat would be added, I could get 10x Gralat Pack 3? Just curious some will become rich.

I'll take anything that is good, meaning that I don't have a limit. I can't see anyone submitting 10 hats though, it's not going to get you rich.

Do we have to limit it to hats? What about furniture and bombs etc.?

Not really, but that is what I'd like to focus on. I'm not interested in bombs and furniture submissions are often very inconsistent.

Imagine someone has old hats he/she didn't release and sends them in, may be five of every kind. Would make 20 Gralat Pack 3 means 400.000? I don't know. Oh wait.., now I see you changed it into 10.000g nice.

This is great! Hopefully i won't get loads of egg nog and gralats this year

Note that we already have way over 150 new hats, I just want some more. Last year the presents system took people by suprise, but this time everyone's waiting :'(

They are the same as last year, but I can't remember what that was.

Can you tell us the difference between cute, tough, smart, and cool. Also for super? Are they just what hats you get? And what do the super ones do that are better than normal?

Well I can tell you cute presents include pink hats. I would know since a lot of my friends decided to buy me a cute gift and I ended up with a good amount of girly pink hats.

I assume the 400 gralat gifts contain stuff like the "filler items" and 200 gralats (makes no sense) because you pay 400 lol. The super ones I assume are stuff like the hats, mounts, and items like juggle usually. I assume you can still get hats out of the 400 ones but probably less likely too. This is an assumption so if Im wrong don't spazz out.

I know this is just a recolour but please use it as a gift the original is my favourite hat..so I redid it in xmas colours :D
And the second is just my mini-Santa hat

And actually this hat is based after a hat my friend showed me on the Internet a week ago. I have it saved to my pc and will show it to you once I get on if you do not believe me.

Pikachu does not have ears like that and definitely was not the first creature to have stripes and fur that color.

Oh, I was thinking about a gif hat where animated snow falls onto a player's head. The snow could gradually pile up as well.

Just finished my 'smart' hat and sent it into Rufus.

He's probably saying that because the signature is sloppy. Also, if you and a friend made them, then you should probably have both of your names in there.
