House-Center
I've had a idea for awhile to make a new tier of house: The Center. I often find myself restricted by the space and sometimes awkward design of the guild houses that sometimes limit it to nothing more than just a house or guild meeting place at most. As much as we may try, no one who really works on guild houses can deny that the guild house is lacking of space sometimes. With houses, boys and girls could adopt babies ._. and farm with a paltry amount of grass. Guild houses in comparison are a tremendous leap forward in farming, and possibility. Guild houses allow parties, guild meetings, soccer, private spar, schools, more adoption, big code shops, and some amazing houses. Now imagine another huge leap. Thats what the center is, another big leap.
With a Center, players could have miniature wars with the massive size, maybe even have personal capture the flag arenas, guild spar arenas instead of spar arenas, or multiple spar arenas for their personal spar complex! Centers can also provide a space for real schools, and proportional soccer arenas, big hotels, or facilities for any startup that players are interested in doing (libraries, massive code shops, etc.). Don't even think about the scale of parties possible with a center. With a Center introduced to graal, the possibilities are as groundbreaking as a guild house is to a house. Here are some of the details and comparisons between my proposed center, a house, and a guild house. Since the guild house is five times as large as houses are in most details, a Center is designed to be five times larger than a guild house Capacity House-5 Players Guild House-25 Players Center-125 Players Price House-0.99$ Guild House-4.99$ Center-24.99 Buildings (On scale with most graal buildings' exteriors) House-Small building Guild House-Medium Building (w/ a small building sometimes) Center-Large building (Like a arena, or tower sized building) Outside Area House-Small Guild House-Varies from small (treehouse) medium at most (rivers and tress obstruct maximum outside potential). Center-Epic Size (Comparable with CTF, or town) Interior House-One room Guild House-3 large-ish Rooms Center-3 Huge Rooms, 3 Medium Rooms, 3 Small Rooms (For maximum possibility) Features House-One house has some lava outside, another has snow, small patches of dispersed grass Guild House-One guild house has spar area, medium patches of grass Center-Guild spar arena, multiple spar arenas, CTF, Big farm, like one of those big farms that you find inside some buildings. Why admins should consider it: $$$: It should cost 24.99, and it probably won't be as popular as the guild house or house, but who knows. The sheer epic size of a center will require lots of furniture, and quite a few graalat packs, which could total up to quite a bit of money. Feel free to add on any ideas. I'm not sure if im the first one to come up with a idea like this, but being unsure is no reason to stay quiet. |
How about just let us make our own server? So I can only play with my friends?

Pricey
It seems like a good idea but if you check all of the store prices they are all moderately close and low cost, that way it's more appealing to the player to purchase something in-game. But such an expensive house would disrupt that flow and would make iClassic seem MORE like a game that's just in it for the money. Plus at that price you could've gotten about 50k gralats to decorate your guild house instead.

If they decide to do this "Center" idea, there should be an option to not just open it to guild members and allies, but also to the public. They should also lower the price to a more reasonable price of $10.

Lol maybe a free discount for 12 seconds
|
25$? Are you Stefan trying to make quick bucks?
|
good idea :0

A center seems too big and expensive
|
I don't really like the idea of the House-Center thing. Sounds really pricey, and like most people who buy guild houses; it's just going to be something someone buys then never uses. Believe me, I've gone through plenty of empty guild houses which kinda irritates me a little. I am in favor; however, of having customizable player houses in game, as in, in public that anyone can enter. The owner would be allowed to decorate it with furniture and whatnot, but he is not allowed to change its style and setup. These houses would be rewards for certain things, I can't say what specifically because I wouldn't want them to target specific players. And I would want everyone to be given an equal chance in earning them, but only a select few would be allowed to have them. Either that or the player would have to be known for something in order to gain it.

I like the idea, but it would mostly be empty space that would take an OBSCENE amount of furniture to fill up.
|
$25?! THATS ONE WHOLE ITUNES GIFT CARD! No one would buy this horrible idea. Not to mention theres no reason for anyone to have 125 people in your house. Unless you want to have a mass orgy.
|
I'd rather have it so its 10 bucks. It has a capacity of 50 people and would be open to public. Then have it so it is possible to make it a party, house, school, guild, or classic style.
Also I'd like customization in guild houses. Maybe the option to give house powers (can kick, invite, move furniture, Etc.) to another graalian? |

I hate how I spend so much time making a nice-looking guildhouse, but only my friends ever see it. an Open-to-Public option would be great. Quote:
yes, $25 seems unreasonable, but you're buying a town-sized space. If theyre more expensive theyll be more rare. However... a couple things: -not sure how successful the concept itself will be. Most people who spent $5 for their guildhouse dont even buy furniture and their house sits empty. BOR-ING. So it would be a big waste for people to spend $25 and not fill their center with furniture. -Spending $25 is quite a lot, and theres a lot of space to fill to make your center interesting. It would become veryyyy expensive quick to actually make an interesting center. So maybe there should be an unlimited supply of default furniture that can only be used in youre center and cannot be sold? Or have a custom furniture upload system? But i doubt either of those ideas would fly with stefan. |
If they includes some unique furnitures, no problem i will take it for $25 right away :p

I believe this post belongs in the "Classic Future Improvements" section.
I don't think this idea would work. |

btw i hate the guild centre idea..scrap that thought and make the "open to public" a possibility instead |

I think that making it public would be great, it would really turn it into a 'center'.
The 25$ thing was just going off of the patterns of guild houses to houses, but I think it emphasizes the fact that the center really is not for everyone. I doubt it will ever be put into action. |
I REALLY like this idea. On Facebook, it would probably cost...
50k~75k gralat. That's a LOT. But I would honestly enjoy this, although $25 or a sh*tload of Gralat is a bit much. I think it should be $10 and 30k gralat. Still pricy, but considering you're talking about your own town/tower/field/whatever, it's fitting. It should have some better way to utilize getting furniture, too. Filling this monster of a house would be a pain otherwise. It should have an open to public option, kick all, clear furniture, and a few types of Center. There would be War maps, which can also easily be used to be a simple forest or something. There would be Snow, Lava, and Forest. Then the inside could be a huge open space, tower, or be a luxury area, with balconies and such. I love this idea! |
The staff were talking about an 'open to public' option for both houses and guildhouses at Christmas. Mainly because I wanted to see what people were doing with their trees but didn't want to announce my interest. It's certainly something that will be added in the future.
