Because it can get annoying.

Because I play without nicknames to reduce lag, and when I tapped the screen before screen drag, I could see nicknames whenever I wanted. In fact, by dragging my finger to my movement pad, nicknames would stay, so I pretty much had a shortcut to turn nicknames on and off whenever I wanted

Yup i have same issues this is really pissing me off, also gets me killed alot. Another problem with it is that its USELESS. It dosen't display characters so it would come in handy to reveal where the enimies are. But it dosent even display them therefore its garbage.

There is a option to turn nicknames off?

This would have made my life ahella lot easier when I used to play graal.

I disliked screen drag on classic. There isn't any purpose for it.

Yogy* 01-24-2013 03:47 AM

Also when u run and tap on someones profile u stop and freeze.

Exactly^^^ Described perfectly, thank you.

We will get an option to enable and disable the drag viewing.
Just stay a little patient.
Thank you

I can't see why iClassic would have this option but not iEra. 85% sure this option should be implemented. I want to be able to view people's nicknames by tapping on the screen but not dragging the screen. My character is forced to stop when the screen is dragged.

Thanks for adding it, but it's pretty useless if you only want to see NPC's or trash/mushrooms. It doesn't work to view players that are past your screen, is that to reduce lag or something?

BabyGhost 01-25-2013 04:24 PM

Screen drag is glitchy. I'm not sure if players would want to see a tree floating in pitch black darkness.

lord greg 01-25-2013 04:53 PM

It is the most annoying thing on era for a while.

RedBoy786* 01-25-2013 04:57 PM

Worst update ever.

callimuc 01-25-2013 05:15 PM

i dislike it aswell. in my opinion you could simply use the zoom thing >:|
