Thoughts on Call of Duty Do you hate it or like it?
 

What do you think about Call of duty do you like it or hate it?

I don't like it as much as I initially did with Cod4 which was the first one I played.
MW2 was the pinnacle of the series imo.

I take CoD less seriously now, its not worth raging over.
There are plenty of other games out there so there is no need to complain about how repetitive and stale this series has gotten.

I used to love Call of Duty, but honestly it just became boring and repetitive; not to mention how bad the community (in-game and out) really is.

I know MANY people hate on CoD, and yes, the community (or rather, lack of community) is rather rude and hostile, but I will always find the games fun. Back in the day they were so innovative and fun. Games like Finest Hour and Big Red One were not only amazing for a 2nd gen console game, they were also historically accurate for the most part. MW2 is the highlight of the series, and every game since then has been lacking. The 1st Black Ops was an abomination, and MW3 was just disappointing. I am impressed with BO2 though, so perhaps the future of CoD is bright.

Well, Call of Duty is very fun if your whole grade plays it, but then again it's overrated, but I admit it's addictive.

Manly CoD 4 and MW2 and for their zombies. Always liked CoD games.

I liked Modern Warfare all the way to Black Ops. I didn't like Modern Warfare 3 or Black Ops 2.

I don't really like it or hate it. I'm just not a big fan of FPS games.
I'll play it if I'm at someone's house, but other than that it doesn't really appeal to me.

To tell the truth, I like CoD series. Yes they are overrated but doesn't mean I hate it. What I hate about the CoD series is because of the fandom community, they ragequit too much.

I didn't buy another game after MW2. I saw them as repetitive and i have better games i would rather spend my money on. I admit CoD4 and MW2 were their best, i did really like CoD5 and it's ww2 setting and zombies though.

I like cod 4, mw2 was ok, blackops 1 was ****, mw3 was ****, and i liked blackops a tiny bit more than cod4 because its not laggy and haxzor filled. Best thing about cod4 was probably the maps

Personally cod has gone down hills for me past mw2, but I'm surprised to see no one, if anyone , really talk about WAW. It was a really good game, now, sure there were a number of glitches and exploits, but the game was pretty well balanced besides the mp40 and a few other guns

I still find a lot of fun in CoD, and I love Black Ops II. I have no idea why everyone hates.

My post is a tas bit late but I love CoD i havent really played WaW or Mw2 but CoD4 and black ops 1 were really good imo,Mw3 has its flaws but its ok I suppose and Black ops 2 is a 50/50 for me though I still play it and have fun it has some major glitch problems that annoy the crap out of me.

COD has too much campers, I use to play it sometimes but I prefer games where you actually need skill. All I do is to spam&pray, at the end my score has a ratio of 2.5

Most people generalize that as a CoD player, it takes no skill to do what you do. CoD is just like any other game once you stumble into the competitive side. No, this does not mean that everyone is camping (unless they're playing obj in HP, HQ, Dom, or similar), but it means that they have to learn new tactics and adapt to their skill to stay on top of their game.

If your score has a ratio of 2.5, your overall ratio is probably low and that's why you're being put into not so great games. While you do have to have a decent reaction time and whatnot in CoD, you do in most of any FPS.

I personally enjoy CoD, as well as other games. Maybe not so much the pub matches side, but I love to watch the MLG Pro Circuit and play in a few comp matches.

Overall, I think Black Ops II is decent, but I would still probably rather go back and play CoD 4 or MW2, or ukno, just drop MP completely and go play Zombies...

Ive always been a fan of other game franchises, i always like to stray away from large games just to support that community out there. If i had to choose, itd be Black Ops and MW3, idk, i just like the newer ones. Nothing against the old ones tho.

CoD has a lower skill ceiling then other games.

I always thought it was the skill floor that was lower. It doesn't really take any effort at all to do well in a match as opposed to most other FPSs. Now that I think of it, it's probably just both.

Call of Duty 4 : Modern Warfare had to be my favorite CoD because it was the only one I had until Black Ops. My dad wouldn't allow me to buy MW2 because of its "broken" online play and the story mode was worse (as in graphic) then the first MW. Did anybody else enjoy the story modes as well, and share my obsession with how awesome Captain Price is?

CoD4 pubs were more broken than MW2's imo.

I have a love-hate relationship with CoD. But TF2 all the way. (No offense)

I like Zombies a lot.. Multiplayer is exactly the same in every game except all of them have
different guns, maps and perks

4 and 5 were very good apart from hackers. The next few were decent but not brilliant but they are becoming better again.

It is fun if you play it actively, if you don't play it actively you get destroyed. Then it is no fun, I used to like it during the summer, but I don't like it anymore because I'm busy a lot.
