Hey guys, most of you may know I'm not really an artist- cause i suck at it, but heres some of my creations. Ill post my creations every thursday at first, first will be the actual sketch then later the final colored version. My first one is a Keyblade, at first i posted it on the khinsider forums, but he community there is horrible for artists and such. So heres my first sketch, colored version should be out by later today or late tomorrow since this was from last thursday.

I named it OdeKeeper, a play on words from the Keyblade "oath keeper" from kingdom hearts 2. The composition of it is:
Keychain- skull candy logo
Chain- headphone chord
Hilt/handle- COBY CD Player from the 90's
Blade- guitar riff (or whatever its called, i forgot)
Teeth- musical notes
Wrote the name on the bottom so the letters look like musical instruments.
Fairly simple concept, but I'm pretty proud. No shading since this is the first draft of it, enjoy! Feedback is highly appreciated.

As the image says "Its something" seems to me that your drawings just plain out suck. You should either take an art class or reconsider your priorities.

well, the art world is pretty harsh.
It's somewhat creative but yeah...

I know, it sucked, its one of my first in a while. But honestly, hes been going around being a jerk on multiple threads after just joining, hes showing no maturity whatsoever and is just putting people down. Im not trying to be all "i made it so its amazing" no. Im just saying at least give me some advice to build on rather than sying i suck and to look at other hobbies, Seriously.


Ill post the digital version i colored as a draft, even though it may suck more, i couldnt find the colors i needed today. Sorry guys.

Thanks :P ill see if i can do it. This thursday ill work on fixing odekeeper and ill work on a new drawing maybe, im running a bit short on ideas, as i dont want to fill the thread with 500 different crappy keyblade drawings, cause itll probably get annoying after a while.

I also didnt want these to go to waste, but i randomly decided to make two cold war themed keyblades for some reason, and honestly i cant stop laughing at it. Especially the teeth of the first one, with the two eyes poking out XD . Idk it just looks really stupid, except some parts of it like the flame of the torch, im proud of that part.

Those are my last two keyblades for a while, now im going to be working on some buildings and landscapes to kinda get better at just basic drawing.

I intend to keep on practicing art, it'll come back to me after a bit. Ive always had a bit of a passion for it, but a combination of lowered self esteem and being up to my face in work keeps me from practicing.

Like it, it's better then anything I can draw.

Mde a sketch of a new drawing, used a ruler like reuqested, but i did some parts freehand since they were too small or it was made towards the end of when the art room was available and i had to finish sooner. Ill post the drawing tonight!

Alright guys, sorry for the delay. Without further wait, heres this weeks drawing. I made quite a bit of it with a ruler, but some of it i had to do freehand, mostly because im too lazy to find something that shape. Honestly, the worst part of it to me is the clock itself, i feel i could improve on that a bit more, which i probably will this weekend.

I thought the first drawing was a banjo. The clock tower is pretty nice though.

If you take your time drawing something, you shouldn't need a ruler to make an edge. You can, but I think it's far more convenient to just take your time and keep a steady hand. I don't have much to critique on the the actual drawings though. Keep it up!

I had your grammar and spelling skill at age 5, so i think we're even ^.^

For my final posting this week, this is my crest. It represents me and who i am. All ill explain is that the top left corner of the shield is a controller inside the kingdom hearts logo, which has my keyblade going through it. The bottom left is the logos of my favorite bands, Linkin Park, RiseAgainst, CageTheElephant, The OffSpring, and Modest Mouse. The rest i will not explain at all. Also a new thing, i wont respond to super negative feedback or stupid trolls anymore, i dont have time for that. Heres the image, if you want a response leave positive and helpful feedback please, its sad that i have to tell you that.

The jewel in the hilt is off-center and the middle is too crowded and off-topic. Try to make it relate to each other and blend in better with the background? And the two blades are not symmetrical and are too far apart and the handle isn't symmetrical and the colors are a bit hard to see.

Alright guys, thanks for the feedback. Since i didn't post one last week, I'm going to post my draft of my new KeyBlade this time then on thursday ill post a shaded version. So heres the one I'm working on, tons of people have tried making Zelda Keyblades but I'm not sure if anyones attempted this. Again, this is a DRAFT, not a final version, so don't expect it to look super professional and crap, its being worked on. Im beginning to work on correcting my flaws in the other drawings, those will be posted as soon as i get to those as well.

How about starting with smaller drawings? Large drawings leave a lot of blank space and seem to give an empty feeling.

I was thinking the same thing after i drew em, and started to draw some more on a smaller scale. Sadly, my iPad camera is too crappy to get a good picture of the drawings, so i cant show them without them looking like a bunch of gray pixels :/
