Why hello, there! My name is Comics.

I've been looking for a long time for someone to make me a original head on Graal. I have some guidelines on how I want it to look like, and this isn't the job for a simple re-colorer or editor, or anything like that. Keep in mind, this head will define me from all the rest for the rest of the time I'm in graal, and I would appreciate it if someone gives it a wing. ;) It's a character from my favorite Kdrama. Now, you guys might be thinking. Comics, that probably has copyright! And no, I looked into it, and it does not, and never will. The mask he is wearing is a "Bridal Mask", and isn't custom made just for him, so it's 100% legal, and not against the rules. Now, I have sent PMs reguarding this subject to some people around graal, but of corse, nobody listens to me! I'd love to work with you, and if things end up well, I might ask for one or two things, (like the head flashing into the man's other identity), but only that part if you are up to it. lol I watched that kdrama too! Isn't the mask basically like this one? It was sold like 2 years ago I think. Also, I'm not sure if they allow full face masks.

Most experienced GFX artists won't make something directly from scratch for some random person with no reward. I recommend you don't be a lazy ass and make it yourself, then ask for help.

*high5* @LiA! ;) Well, personally I don't like that mask that was sold. (Believe it was about 3 months ago they released that one in rev, btw) Anyway, I'm not looking for one with a heart and a diamond on it.... And not that chunky. Even if I was to wear that mask, it wouldn't be ANYTHING like the look I'm going for. But thanks so much for trying to help :) I need it to look like the guy, with hair infront of it, and it wouldn't be as if it was trying to add a item to the head, I'd word it more as part of the design.

I'm trying to deters anyone from wanting to help you with this project, I'm doing two people a favor. You'll learn how to work hard and do graphics, and the artist won't waste time for a un-appreciative person.

Rezon, I am very appreciating. I'm trying to learn how to do GFX, but I need someone who is already experienced to do this job for me. If you are going to continue to bash me, even though you don't know anything about me, make A NEW THRED, and leave me alone! Post away on how much you hate me! I don't care! Because all that will happen is that you will look like a dumbass, so to speak, even if you aren't. I personally pride myself in the real world by seperating myself from commen folk that are impatient, iterational, and whatever you kids these days are, as well as unappreciative. He could at least asked me if I tried GFX (which I have been doing for over a week now), but NO, he immediately assumes the worst, without letting time for me to explain.

But I do have to agree with Rezon (but in a less meaner tone) that most people just won't make something for some person who just started playing the game and such. But who knows maybe you will get lucky and a person who can make such a graphic will be willing to help you make it or make it for you.

I've had a few friends that where admins for a while, and one (Fate) helped me find someone, but then I never got in contact with the person who was going to make it for me, and now I can't ask, as some of you know, Fate quit Graal now. And also Bear (Wise) told me I just had to tell him when I thought of a head idea, then he would hook me up, after U got to know Bear for a while that's what he offered, and now HE quit (I think, or just went away). I just have bad luck, I guess! Thanks for all these posts guys, Kind, and the ones who brought it up in a more firm rugged form. As I said before, I do GFX, but lets just say I'm "GFX challenged." Lol, it's not my thing. I'll keep with the head I have right now, until I find the right oportunity. With all these people who have talent are in the community, I figured that they could share the love with people who would be greatful to flaunt their work. But I understand that's not the case in te Graal community.

Welcome to the Forums! If you could find someone to help you with this good job. Also don't listen to people telling you to do it. imo just because you want a head you shouldn't always be the one to do it since "some" people are kind enough to lend their skills for you.

Wow, you certainly know how to make a first impression.

Rude, or not, nobody is going to make a custom head for you just because you asked somewhat nicely. As I said before, attempt it yourself, show some effort then maybe someone will drop by and lend their skills to you by fixing it up or even finishing it for you. Most GFX artists prefer to not be tools, but a helping hand.

I've heard that a million times, and I already knew what I was getting into, because I have been trying to get this done for months, so what you say isn't any new news. All I need is a "no" not a whole explination if you don't have an idea that I can somehow pull this off, theres no need to try to tell me what to do, but thank you. I'm my own person, and I don't need to hear to make it myself hundreds of times, when all the stuff I make looks like pure sh**, neither do I need to be judged as a human being by such a stupid thread. Although you guys might think you are mini phycologists, you aren't cutting it right here, and you are reading the situation wrong. I ask for someone to possibly try to make a head for me, and I obviously see nobody on here has that in their heart, and I keep on saying I'm not going to make it, so to those people, I kindly say this thread is closed. IF I MAKE ANOTHER THREAD asking for help making it, then that's another story xD And who knows, if I get desperate enough, you might see a new one about me, and hopefully then it's not the "Angry Comics", but more the "Regular Comics" personality, which I think you guys would appreciate a tad bit more. I'm looking forward to talking to you guys in the future, without tension on this subject.

Another problem I must say I have is that I don't know how to make a head, other than simpally putting the colors ontop of the template. I've tried to learn more to further myself, but I don't know how. I know how to draw in real life considerably well, but drawing on the computer? It's so foreign to me, and I'm not that passionate about it, either.

Of corse I know pure black and white doesnt work, but that's about the extent how techno-savvy I am to such topics. How do you guys learn?

GFX Challenged eh? We were all 'GFX Challenged' once. Atleast attempt to make the head no matter how bad it is, and im sure that the artists here will be glad to help, or even take it and make it better themselves.

Someone may be willing to make you a head in order to practice their own skills. That person being located on these forums though may be unlikely according to these responses. I personally use Photoshop CS5 for my pixel art, but there are free programs such as Gimp and Paint.net that work great as well. Try using the head template in the background to forge your own creation. Can't get the right shape? Try using a premade head as a base to help outline the parts you're having trouble with. You will probably be disappointed with your head several times until you get it just right. If you don't want to attempt it, I would keep an eye out for a thread of an artist taking head requests or asking around Graal. I hope you get your head and welcome to the forums!

xD I guess you are right about that. I shouldn't expect myself to become a guru on this stuff going into it. Stay tuned, Comics the GFX challenged, will become Comics the GFX not-as-challanged soon enough :shy:

Are you old enough to be on the internet without your parent's permission?

I have my parents permission anyway, but yes, I am old enough not to, though. What makes you say that? and of what I am aware of, there isn't a designated age, is there? I have my own computer, etc.
