Whats your opinion on it? I'm really starting to hate it. Gets VERY annoying, especially when its noobs running around saying "Need a gf whu wll marry me!," or when its people in your gang talking about having sex or running away to Vegas...things like that.

I personnaly think this should be in general discussion for both games, nonetheless, I shall add my two cents in. I don't e-date, simply put, but it certainly isn't a bad thing. The thing that keeps people playing Graal most of the time is the social aspect of it. So many people play and say Graal is their 'second life' or some put it in ways as if their guild is like another family. E-Dating is all preference, and it does wonders for keeping people playing.

Yes, but there is a difference between having "e-sex" and all of this picture sharing and stuff, and a "social aspect." Being extra-good friends with someone is different then the e-dating going on, giant weddings, and things like that.

It's all just one big roleplay, look at it that way. I agree the entire notion of cyber sex is odd, and frankly stupid. Anyone who does it is typically a young, curious player or a troll.

Online dating is annoying. I mean why do you need it? In the end you just want pictures if you are honestly. Just get out of your house and walk to the next girl like you would do it in Graal.

Yup. I agree with that :) It really makes me mad as well when guys pretend to be girls x.x I mean like permanent pretending, not just as a joke for a day. Kind of creeps me out.

I'm not ok with it at all. And nobody on graal actually knows each other IRL and dates them x.x (I'm talking about the iGraal population. There are a few people on GraalOnline that know each other/date each other in real life).

of course it was different when you did it. thats just like the players that glitch and scam and then as soon as they get into a "admin guild" they noobgasm and suddenly say anyone who glitches or scams should be permabanned, i even know a staff member who used to scam players on balamb.

anyway, its just horny people being horny people, i guess people sometimes want something more than just porn of people off the internet, but not something as much as a actual relationship. friends with cyberbenifits if you will. happens on every multiplayer game, but yes the pretending to be a girl in real life thing is wierd, like the guys on wow that make a female night elf and put on the skimpiest clothes ever.

Well, Higbey, I'm saying it was different when I did it to Kat specifically because I know him, he knew about it and knew himself that it was different, not because I was waiting for someone to comment and say "Of COURSE its different when you do it." And seems like on Era there are some big problems with the picture sharing stuff, not so much on Classic (from my experience). I'm not explaining anything about when it happened to me because A, I really don't want to type it out to you, and B, because it was for other reasons that weren't being horny or love.

On Era people are obsessed with certain girls that give out nudes (a few of which are actually guys), and the whole e-dating thing is coming to a climax x.x

Back on topic, I think it is fine as long as peoples do not take it to seriously. It is stupid to get your heart broken over a guy who lives thousand of miles away from you. Chances are you will not ever meet him, so why waste time on it?

Most of the time it isn't serious to the point where they are committed to them IRL. It's all a part of roleplaying. My character needed a woman who could withstand his dual personalities and rock hard body. No one other than LADY GAGA, another freak of nature and a first class ho, could tolerate his awesomeness. Obviously we are not dating in real life but we like to pretend we are on the game for the lulz. In a way we are kind of making fun of others who take it seriously. For example we exagerate how much we love eachother in guild chat to such a degree that it is psychopathic. We have grown good friends outside of the game and hopefully one day we will go to Vegas with the other staff members. We all have relationships outside of the game.

The poisoness acids in her womb would melt any other organism. Again, she is perfect for my needs. On that note she would crush anyone else's pelvis except mine so even if anyone tried getting her pregnant, they would probably would have trouble peeing the rest of their lives from a wheelchair.

I don't know how I feel about online dating. If you honestly really like someone online then I can see why you might want to go down that route, but I'm not convinced that everyone does. I've been asked to "e-date" people I don't even know, or have known from just a few PM's. I really pity the people who "date" before they get to know the person, it's just a really sad thing to do. If I were going to "e-date" someone I'd have to had know them for years, and even then, it'd only be a relationship with the intent of meeting that person. You can't really know a person until you have met them face to face.
