Nexus
 

Nexus used to be a great party place whenever there was a special event or something. Recently it's still rarely opened, but not even close to the partying it used to have, its been more about the items and hats or whatever. 2 years ago at Saint Party's day, nexus opened for the day, pool party theme, roughly two hundred people in the party room, admins making appearances and turning things green while NYN flew around spaming "greeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeen!" This year people only came for the hats and mounts, only a few people hanging out.
Tl;dr: Nexus/revolution used to be a great party areas where players/admins went ham. What happened?

The staff team has lost it's swagger. Help them find it.

Those 30 gp and event admins should do something in there every one and awhile. Remember the RPS tourneys??

The real reason anybody got excited before was secretly because they just enjoyed looking at the golden nicknames which stood out among the ugly, continuous green ones.

No, but a lot of the older nexus and revos had awesome themes to them. Safari Nexus had a "safari adventure" tour thing you could go on, beach nexus was a beach... etc

Now it's just the same default nexus every time

No but it was cool having staff host stuff like that.

EllyBelly had his own personal nexus theme once.

Commander Shepard is right, it also had a minimum PKs room selling all sorts of stuff.

Those were the two that I remember but I believe there were others. I know not EVERY nexus had a cool theme, but it happened frequently enough for it to be expected every once in a while. It's been more than a year since the last themed Nexus which was the safari one.

*Beach Nexus was so cool because the starfish on the "beach" shore were actually hats you could buy hehe

when lordpi was staff first day nexus open it had a special hat for 1gralats/
next week he made a swamp theme with frog hats.

Rev was the big party place.
I have to agree the rev and nexus little parties were one of the cool times on graal.

Now it just oh nexus open for the weekend get the stupid hats with no theme to it.

and wasnt it like elly's b-day they made a theme for him, oh and a pirate theme as well.

Ya, revolution was a big deal when I first came out. It was cool when they had that room for Vg and it's allies that time.

I agree with bringing themes back they made the nexus pretty fun.

I thought everyone went crazy because of the stuff admins show players what's possible to do if you had an admin account. To be able to walk or fly over everything. Crazy looking bombs and more stuff. I never thought it was the golden names though Lol.

Omfg I miss super bombs and jolt bombs. I remember once my friend and I were farming with super bombs and they would shoot out long flames. Good times. Why did staff get all uptight all of a sudden anyways? Isn't their whole point is to entertain us and make sure we're safe? Well I must compliment them on revamping the latter, but it seems like they've completely abolished the first. Staff should be allowed certain freedoms- to an extent. I miss the times where someone would reinact the bombing of London and spam Graal city with super bombs and we'd all scatter about to grab one to show our friends. Those were fun times. They should only disable those things in houses and whatnot so they can't farm for their friends or whatever. Why so serious staff?
