A lot of shovels going on around the Classic world at the moment, a bunch of people making statuses to trade Easter Eggs, and those hard working little fellas getting eggs stolen from one another. That must mean one thing, it's Easter Time again on the Classic world :D! Good luck finding those eggs!

Fp4 is going to add something to prevent the stealing part.

The egg hunt is a good idea and the swapping is even better but had very little insetive for me to go hunt! A trophy? Really? Whats gonna happen when the first 10 have claimed thier prizes? The left over eggs are around usless? Boring event and thiefs everywere

You can dig eggs up, but you won't get all of the eggs through doing this.

Nobody is forcing you to participate, but you really do need to learn how to read.

We've cracked down on egg theives, you will now have 5 seconds to pick up your egg before someone else can. Eggs found under bushes and in swamp grass can be still be taken by other players right away though so scramble your competitors.

Tried digging up eggs, but due to the amount of lag, supposedly created by all the npcs... it was quickly snatched away from me by some noob. Way to favour those fortunate enough to have a good connection(?)

Does this apply to grass and bushes too?

They aren't favoring anyone.

Yeah, there are activity-specific eggs.

Can I dig them up while at my guild house?

I don't think you can spawn eggs in bushes, but yes, you can farm them. Areas like the Grotto, any swampy grass, etc.

I'm not sure about this, because I'm not to bright on the scripting. But can't you make it wait there until that player who farmed, or digged it claims it? Sorta like the beach shoveling in Era.

He edited his post, I swearz! Also 5 seconds isn't enough, my lag extends past 5 seconds.

Can they randomly spawn indoors aswell?

Yes we can for everything except drops from bushes and swamp grass, as there is no 'owner' specified when regular gralats and bombs/arrows drop.

Bumped the timer up from 5 to 8 seconds.

Do slimes drop eggs as well?

Yes, if it drops gralats it drops eggs.

Since guild house grass yields gralats does that mean they spawn in my guild house? Because that'd be beautiful...

No player house drops were purposely disabled.

Yes, but they are plagued with a bug that I can only assume is triggered when they kill each other. I guess the "thief protection" locks ownership of the egg to another Pyrat, and it eventually times out and disappears. It was driving me nuts. Pyrats are still the best baddy to kill for eggs, IMO.

Correct. They also lock eye patches to the killer during the quest on Pyrat Bay, which can potentially lock to another Pyrat.

Good update - I like it. I like the eggs, I like the competition. Good work.

However.... I've read this thread and it doesn't mention what happens to the eggs after Easter. Do they disappear? Can you eat them? Can you buy stuff with them? or nothing....

As of right now they will simply be destroyed when we're 'done' with the event.

boo - make it so you can eat them!! or throw them

All those eggs that are just out of players' reach are taunting me >.<

I take it we can expect a crappy Era knock-off next year?

Yes - once you've found all the ways to get the eggs I'll update era.

If someone can help a noob out, can someone please tell me how to get a shovel? (I play Era but this seemed interesting :p)

On the map you'll see a marker for 'MoD Town', go into the waterfall in that area.
