Background of your Graalian Name
 

What's the story of how you came up with your Graalian name? Doesn't matter if it's too simply or too complex.



My story of how I got my Graalian name, Vlad, is from a book I read before I started playing Graal called "Vladimir Todd". Yeah, Vlad isn't my real life name, for those who thought it was.

My name began when I started off the game, January 20th 2010, as Adam. Then, I started exploring different names such as smiley face, and finally I decided on Lord

So my first name was KillerRed09(KR09)
I used KR09 from my ps2 online days. It was Killer ed 09 before but people called me KR09 so I just went with that. When I joined graal KR09 was the name.
I think in november Pimpsy was doing hide n seek for the body head and hat for the Santa Claus look he made. I remember it was North Of Graal which is Mod town in the guild house crap building.

I joined Cruxis a few weeks later since Aikan asked if I wanted to join. At the time I used KR09 for my ipod account and used my iphone account since it ran better than a ipod 2gen. I was Santa Claus. So most people just knew me of Santa Claus and not from KR09.
So I just kept it like that and so far been about a year and few months since I kept it.

Pretty sure a few other threads have been made about this. But whatevs.

I don't even know how I came up with my name anymore, I've had it for awhile and just forgot how it came about, my name irl isn't even close to Simons... Come to think of it I don't know how I came up with any other names I've used in games.

I started off as MrBaghead, but on a different forums (playhaven) I was known as a stranger since the game had a very tight knit community, and that's what I used for Graal. There was little of anything that I could do to represent my username in way, (Sure the paper bag head, but it just didn't fit.) So within 3 months of trying to find the perfect name for my character, I loved Zen as it means peace, with all the chaos in Graal. I came up with the name of Zenumist, if any maplestory players understand. I put valiskar, a made up word using stems from my 8th grade honors english teacher, val meaning brave, and ar meaning relating to. valar was too boring, so I added a few letters to make it look "cool". That's the origins of Zenumist Valiskar or Zen.

My original graal name: 'Meteorohobia' is my Xbox live name. I made this my name on xbl because I wanted to join a stupid clan or something and the dood was like "u have 2 make ur gamertag a legit phobia." All the cool ones were taken so I was forced to pick Meteorphobia.

When I first started playing Graal I started with the name "Link." Ya, original, I know. Eventually though I started playing less and developing more. As I developed and started getting more involved with the community(forums), and starting playing very little, I felt like it would be best to try to set apart my name from others. So I sat and tried to come up with a nice name no one else would probably share. Dusty is what I came up with. Don't recall the "trigger" for that name, though.

I went through many different names in my early graal days. I forget most of them.

Isaac. My real name.

Long ago, I started off as bboy599. I liked the term "bboy" even though I had no relevancy to the hobby, and my birthday was 5/21/1999.

When I got into iClassic, I tried a variety of names and ended up with simply "Bboy." After awhile, I was introduced to someone who I ended up growing somewhat close to (I guess you could say close?), Skittles Eatsbacon. We oddly became 'facebook brother and sister', thus I adapted the 'Eatsbacon' name. From herein, I was known as Bboy Eatsbacon.

Once it came around to choosing a community name, I found that it could only be one word, therefore I had to merge Bboy and Eatsbacon into BboyEatsbacon. It wasn't all that appealing at first, but I grew into it pretty naturally.

Pretty short story, actually.

I'm a New Zealander and at the time there were no members named Kiwi that I could find.

My dog's name is amigo. He is furry.

I used to use my rl name in game but it was kinda common and I wanted a name that I can use to stand out from others and people would remember me by. Then I saw that advert about Car Insurance, think it's called Admiral Insurance UK, and I just went with Admiral.

I liked the way Bluey sounded. Not the way it was spelt. Y -> H = Blueh. Back in the early day I used to be Dr. Blueh because I want to become a Dr. when I'm older. When guilds came out I just changed it into a rank. Eventually when I stopped using that tag I was left with Blueh.

Ever since a year ago I had gone through so many names like John and ghost (how original)

Then one day I was watching the honey badger

My favorite number is 3

3 + honey badger = HON3Y BADG3R

Plus I only have the name

Was testing out iClassic profile background colors, and 'tan' was a milky light brown that reminded me of lattes, so I thought 'omg how cute would it be to have a tan background and the username Latte'. And I love coffee so it worked out <3

Going all the way back from when I was 10, I got Xbox Live. My Xbox Live name was LuckyStar321, and I eventually stared using that for every account. Then I used the name SarahBearah for a school-related account and then that stuck (hence my skype). Then I was like "I wanna be pro and only use 1 word that no one else uses in Zone" so I changed to Platinum. And that's my life story.

Name was revolver for a while in tribute of my favorite fire arm the Colt SSA revolver then shorten it to Revo* 264hr in graal GUNS FTW:D

It's my middle name

For those of of you who had the pleasure of hearing me talk, you know that i sound very funny.
Scale was one of those words that i said funny, and my parents would always annoy me about it until i said it right. Then one day out of boredom on Graal i tried to think of a way to spell the word i said so funny, and "Scaal" was born.

Mine's so boring compared to all these haha.

Well, when I first went to play KOTOR on PC back in the day, one of the first screens that popped up was the 'name your character' screen. I couldn't really thin of anything, so I just stared at it for a while. Then I noticed it had a button to randomly generate names. So I clicked it for quite a bit until 'Dran Char' popped up. I liked it, then used it for mostly everything. Eventually I dropped the last name, and just kept 'Dran'. Not a very interesting story.

My name was originally "thepimp" because when I started graal I went around dressed as a black man stalking people and shouting racist jokes. When I heard about graal Facebook I decided to make one but they didn't allow "pimp" for a name. So I tried different combinations and eventually "Pimpsy" went through. I also needed a last name so I randomly made up "georgerick" on the spot. Yeah... Not the classiest way to decide a name...

As for my burger look, I developed it on chaotic's "xazier" server like 3 years ago when I was staff. Not sure what gave me the idea. I think I was trying to separate myself from coming off as racist, considering I did before in my earlier years.

So my cousin introduced me to graal and his name was iCyno. He got the name because when he started graal someone told him to have the name iNoob and he took it because he didn't know what noob meant.Then when he figured out he wanted to change it and his favorite colour was cynober and he came up with iCyno. Yeah so that's how he got his name. I thought his name was awesome and i wanted a name with i so i was chucking out random words and got names like iskillz and eventually got iWarp and stuck with it because people knew me as that. Also , yes i have the most original name:).

Yeah mine all started off from an event hat i won in my first ever event back then i was just called josh critch, josh being my name and the critch part is what everyone calls me in real life then i won this cactus hat from chance and i was mexican josh then i learnt that in spanish mexico is mejico and thus mejico josh was born and sowas the phrase nobody fear the mejico is hear

Because I am a huge Fallout fanatic and Dimentio has been my name for 2 years now and almost everywhere I tried to make an account it was already used, so I tried something which I thought was unique and that was Ulysses' nickname and then I realized it isn't as unique as I thought and there were always 1 or 2 who picked it..

I never use my real name for games, but for Graal I did. Maybe I felt a connection to it and that's why I used it. Not really sure.

Well this is about to get embarrassing...So, when i first started Graal i'm not going to lie i was pretty much a complete nerd. For at least the first 6 months that i started playing Graal i called myself 'H@XeR'. Yes i know how hilarious. I had been playing pokemon that day and i had used my action replay to hack around on pokemon so i was feeling like a 'hacker'. Thus i made my goal in Graal to figure out how to hack it and get the awestruck responses from players who saw me 'gmap hack'. Back then the whole 'delete files on ifile' trick worked and you could easily walk around the entire map acting like a hacker. That carried on for months until i got banned and i decided not to hack anymore. Then for those of you that remember, the whole 'guild house jump' craze began. And honestly i don't know one person who did not abuse this marvelous glitch to go off of the map. Then i entered a new phase of glitching. I joined a glitching guild and went off map almost every day. One day i went to the island known as Lag or Lighte Island. I saw that then instantly got inspired to change my name to bRiTe for whatever reason. Back then it was cool, so i kept that for a while. Then one day i was walking through Swamptown and someone said my name looked 'gay' so being the self conscious preteen that i was, cared about what he thought and typed random letters into my name to try to think of a better one and Basi came out of it. Kept it ever since.

This name came to me in a dream along with a powerful sword and a mission.

I don't remember how I came up with my 'Graalian' name.

I was watching the movie van helsing wif mah dad e.e.. So I named my self from player to general miller to Van Helsing and now Van Canavi/Van116 :3

Used to be Fox. My current Graalian name is Jin Kazama (sometimes Jin). He's is my favorite character in Tekken. If you don't know what Tekken is, then go kill yourself.

I started out being Pkmnmaster760 (I know, stupid) Because I was obssessed with pokemon and whatnot, but that was 4 years ago. I was in this other guild that had my rank as "Shadow ninja" and I became "Shadow Ninja Pkmnmaster760." I went on like that for a few months and I even joined CoM back then. People were calling me Shadow instead of Pkmn, so I guess I just deleted the pkmnmaster760 part and stuck on with "Shadow." Around Dec. of 2010 I quit for just a little while, which explains why I don't have that many hours and whatnot. It turns out when I said little, I meant 1 and a half year, because I didn't come back until Spring 2012. Then I added Wulfe for no particular reason and the name "Shadow Wulfe" was born.

In 7th grade, I was in esl and my esl friend made me a name soyi.

Well, my name used to be 'Bacon' < 2pr0. Then for some reason I added mr. Bacon to it. I then tried to make a Graal Facebook using that name, but it wouldn't let me. So, I made the 'mr.' Into 'mister' but it still wouldn't let me so I change it to 'misster', that didn't work either, but I liked it. Then my friend, Krazi started telling me bakon is cooler then bacon. So I played around with it and kept it. For some reason the K in BaKon is capitalized. So my in-game name is 'misster.BaKon' but some guy made a family guild 'misster' copying my originality. So now I go by BaKon. Yeah, not interesting, I know.

Well.. My name is a tad more.. "Grim" if you will.. I've gone through cycles of names, that I don't plan on mentioning.. But, ams or "Kill My Self" OR "Killed My Self" is kind of like a reminder.. A reminder to an emotional struggle I've over came, in the past few years leading up to this point.

I just typed random letters onto my screen and saw what I typed. After like 282 times of names such as "haiwb" and "jabsu" I typed sicx, and I guess brother lynch is cool too lol.

I was like 7 or 8 and there was the pokemon anime of gen 4. I got a tamagotchi for christmas and I had to make a username and password for it to play on the computer. I liked the pokemon Buneary at the time and my sister was registering the account and she was like 'No it wont work.' so I'm a really imaginative 7 year old and added the number 100 to the end of it. Buneary100 has been my username since then. Dropped the 100 for Graal because numbers make stuff look less cool.

I also like bunnies.

I got the name Psycher from Baseball Superstars, where there was a super pitcher with that name. I liked him because he was a magician with a long coat and a nice blue suit with a fedora. I used to add an XX after the end based on BassXX from
Megaman Battle Network. I stopped using the XX after a while though.

I didn't even know that 'Buneary' is a Pokemon lol.

Mine came from a character from Zoids.

I want to change my name.

Change it to something more gender sensitive.
