is it just me or do you feel like there isnt much events during the day in the uk

I host events during that time. o:?

i must be on at the wrong time as i go to school im normal on from 3pm till 11pm and i hardly see events or none at all :L

UK/Europe never get much ever in graal. expecially when it comes to big events its always at stupid time for us.

*cough*Hire UK staff, they cooler*cough* xD

For an events team shouldn't there be 23/7 events?

Time to hire more events staff!!!!!! oh wait, matt isn't manager anymore.

Graal is bigger in North America than it is over there. So, times are more accessible for us.

surely in order to get the most players possible you wanna try and even it out with a slight more focus on America

Isnt eurocenter games in generel biggest in france were they are based so i dont see why did is a problem

Eurocenter is over there, but America is its biggest market.

I suppose thats the case most of the frenchies as i call them all do gang up into that area in graal city

Maybe not that much but even some events every hour to two hours daily would improve how it is at the moment for the uk

America is the biggest market for this game. I've only seen probably two or three french people on Graal PC in my run. iServer, I'm not sure but I doubt it would take the spot.

It's not a form of organized discrimination against non-american countries.
It's a matter of the majority of our playerbase living in mutual time zones, which happen to be american afternoon to evening hours. It's always been this way.

This majority is reflected on the Events Team as well, as it should. Five events team members in prime time is equivalent to one team member active during the inverse time zone; at least, in terms of staff-to-player ratio. With the player count Zone currently has, I wouldn't hire more than one "European" events team. Else the Europeans would have an advantage of lesser contest, and therefore the awards would go to the same people repeatedly.

As for me, I believe I'm online during European prime-time. I live in Florida, which is Eastern Standard Time. I get up at 2:30AM, and at about 3AM I go to the local Dunkin' Donuts that shares a plaza with my workplace. I'm usually scheduled at 6AM, so I buy a small iced coffee in exchange for two and a half hours of WIFI usage. I prop my iPad on my steering wheel and play Zone. I also bring my old broken Android phone and Skype my brother while we play; great way to start off my day.


Glazey, you changed your avatar. I always cracked a smile when I seen the black guy in your old one. Though, I suppose this one strikes a different chord.

At least you don't get a lot of lag like Australia....

Yeah I feel that we need to have an even spread of events around the clock. Most of the events are hosted on US times. Another thing... i havent seen an et on in days lol did the events team get disbanded :( can i rename my squad to events team?

I can't speak for them all, but I do know that most (possibly even all of them) are busy with school..as most people are during this time :P

if thats the case maybe they should hire more ET or get some of the other admins to host events more frequently during that time

More ET? iZone was supposed to be PVP (Player VS Player), and now barely any of that happens anymore

I think we have to stick to more PVP. Until that, do not add any more things non PVP related.

What stops a ET from hosting a showdown event or spar and pvp area that would in my view get more people to play pvp and reward them more at te same time as more people will be partaking (still in uk time)

Less hosting tbh. Every hat is giving out so many times that they aren't even considered rare. Btw, events team is a staff tag. They're not gonna let you name your squad that even if it does get disbanded. Considering that the GP's/otherstaff would use it when hosting events. @rotaruc.

only give out gralats then? its the hosters choice to give out a hat they could just stick with $

I host usually 6 pm European time, or 7pm.. if that helps. And @Hayze, I only host Gralats. Maybe two people in all of zone have my hat (both different).

ill be looking forward to it then. maybe get an admin who can be active through European time hosting a few events iv been on for 4 hours today no sign of any events

Host a hat event 1 time and only that person can get that hat. Like jester used to do.

All because it is a PvP event doesn't help it at all. It's still an event, and if events get spammed enough, people get bored.

then we get "Why are you doing normal whatever, an ET member is about to host such and such over and over!"

i put that because master was saying its suppose to be a pvp game so i was explaing they could host pvp events getting more players involved in pvp not necessarily spamming it all day long

What do you mean I thought it was a PVP game? If I am not mistaken, it is.

What needs to take place is : Remove Events, finish other PVP stuff, then add more events after there are enough players and a good, solid ground for iZone

sorry my mistake fixed that my overall point is the during the time im on (3pm till 10 sometimes 11pm GMT +1) we are lucky to get 1 event or sometimes 2 in that time and i think that should be changed in my opinion

I only host when I'm not working though, so stay happy! :-D
