guild news
 

The new guild news message you receive every time you put on a tag seems like spam. If I get in spars against guild members it takes my tag off and puts it back on many times. I get a build up of guild news messages. It should only happen once a day when you first log on maybe.

There is an option to turn it off.

I can relate to clops problem me and free narrow have it happen to us constantly when no one joins in main spar. It does get quite annoying to have it pop up a lot but I like not having to send the "." Message to see who's online when I log on so I'm at a cross roads with this option

I like this news alert, but it would definitely get annoying to enable it and disable it every time I decide to spar or stop sparring. I'm afraid "what Penny said" can be very annoying to turn on and off routinely. Another word for this is lazy... :P

That would be cool, and ideal to my tastes. Although a specific option, it could be possible to customize certain options. It might just make things a hell of a lot more difficult for scripting staff, though. :P

This being said, I'm sure we can also get used to little things that don't quite go our way. I have no problem disabling the alerts if it solves the spar problem, even if it means I will not receive this notification when I actually want it. So the above solution may not even me necessary if people can just learn to adapt. Alas, my post has no meaning. :)
