iZone Haters
iZone seemed to of attracted a lot of haters in the Graalonline community, but why? I'd like to see why many players dislike this server, I want to see valid points that can be backed up. Quite frankly, I enjoy iZone, it definitely has stuff to do, and is more entertaining than most servers. Is it because players just haven't tried out this server, and they assume its bad for mistaken information?
Note: This thread is to only benefit the server, please don't start any useless arguments and unneeded posts, thanks. |
They don't like it cuz they suck at it. They think when they first start playing it'll be ez, but I reality you have to play for a while to get used to it. This is the reason nobody plays. People with 10 hours or under quit because they can't stand being noobs (lol), so they go back to their servers.

Pretty sure every server has haters.

The thing that turns me off about iZone is the inaccuracy of the bullets (or lasers whichever you prefer). But, you do get used to it. Eventually you can use it to your advantage if you get good at it. It's just like any other server, you just need to work at it. Other than that, the server is perfect in my eye. New stuff is getting added every week, and the community is really friendly. There should be no reason to hate on it. =D

Well talking about myself I enjoy every single thing in zone expect money making its so hard that's what I dislike in zone
|
I like the new updates brought out, however I'm inactive because of the missions giving less gralats each time you level up. Not sure why this is. I'm mainly a mission person though, so the showdown and events are not too interesting for me. This doesn't just go for zone, I prefer to do jobs in Era as well :P But ya, that's just my view I guess.

I think people assume iZone is bad because, I think everyone can agree on this, while Matt was manager for Zone no real development work was getting done, and the playercount was roughly 30 - 40 players. As well as this, Matt decided to introduce an events team and hired roughly 5 - 6 more players, hence the joke why it seems everyone is hired on iZone.
However, when Tashkin took over, development has picked up, there are consistent updates now, and the playercount has tripled. Yeah it's not 1000+ like Era or Classic, but give it time. Overall, Zone has become an interesting server to play on, though I work for Zone, I see myself playing it more and more each day. |

There are quite a few reasons why I became inactive on iZone after playing since the first day.
To begin with, zones management was absolutely horrible until Tashkin who was promoted just a few days after I gave up on iZone. Also, the fact they rehired an admin who was fired for banning me without a decent reason, without even seeing how this concerns me whatsoever. Next, the server became 100% event server. Finally, the server's tileset is really off for what type of game it is. Zone is the future and in space not some sky palace floating above classic. |

to be unwilling; dislike: I hate to do it. |
What i like about zone? Uniqueness. Players cannot adapt to new things or new servers. They judge the book by its cover without actually reading the pages. Zone has a unique quality that sets it up as one of the coolest servers in my opinion. The staff are great and have 100% equality. Haters just like to make other things feel inferior because of their own arrogant opinions, so let them be. What makes zone awesome is that we never give up, and we won't. :)

Just play zone a bit more and you wont have any accuracy problems. I think everyone has trouble shooting when they first start bcuz when izone came out no one even knew how to shoot straight. ppl would camp in corners or run upwards to get their oppenents to run into the bullets for kills. |

You simply have to look at the player count to see what us "haters" mean. Obviously Zone has BARELY made the 100+ player count. The updates are mostly filler like Classic and usually include...hats. Also Zone is basically a space version of Era. I also haven't heard the best things about the staff but I heard that a while ago so it could've changed.

Compared to what iZone used to have and the size of the gmap it has atm, 100 - 150 players is great. We've just released the hoverboard ramps and grinding, a bomb spar tourney, the lottery, event house and much more. In fact, hats haven't been updated in ages (though it's being worked on!) A lot has changed about the staff team since a while ago. Matt resigned and Tashkin is the new manager, the ET department was practically disbanded, and pretty much the whole team has changed except for a fair few. cko |

This uh, sure went off-topic.. Let's ignore Yogy and the talk of Trigger (lol'd).

I certainly don't hate Zone, and never have. I actually enjoy the gameplay of Zone more than other servers. The reason I quit was due to a few members of staff at the time, who I felt were out of order. Obviously, I'm not going to name names.
