Why do people care about hours?
 

I don't know why do ppl care, it doesn't mean your pro, can someone help me?:unsure:

New players show the care for hours alot they want to show the experinced players whos "boss" this usually turns out in a fail.

Because they figure "If i have lots of hours it will make it look like I've played longer"

Being able to get into places because of the amount of hours adds importance to it, sucks for your device's battery life though.

If you go AFK and then lock your iPod, I know it still increases hours, but does it still hurt your battery life?

Ya, it also murders ur charger as I've heard.

I honestly don't give a rats ass about my hours. The sad part is I only afked a small portion of them, but I'm not afraid to hide them. The only time I care about hours is when I'm recruiting. If you have a lot of hours it shows you either play a lot or took the time to leave your ipod on and afk and get those hours. However, my guild isn't about stats. I only recruit friends.

I wonder the same thing when I see people with 2,000+ hours and like 10 kills

I'll admit when I was crazy noob I afked 5-10 hours to get to 100...

Might not be displaying but the processor is still running the app and using your WiFi connection both of which will still be using plenty of juice.

Slowly but surely trashing your battery one percent at a time.

To be honest, Graal kinda ruined my iPod4's processor, so when playing on my new iPhone I've tried to avoid Graal city overall.

Do you mean battery because I don't think it's possible for the app to ruin a processor.

Sadly, just playing graal has trashed my iPod 4th gen battery. I go from fully charged to 20% in about 35 minutes while playing Graal.

Weird, it doesn't killl my 3rd gen's battery. All it does is make the screen act funny. And I bet that's because I play in the shower.

I've only ever been on Graal with iPODs (x2) for like 5 hours in total LOL
I've never installed Classic on it =[

Same for my old iPod 2G. With my iPod I afk´d with it a bit (~500h) before the VIP was out. Just like that. Now it dies after 30 minutes.

What's so bad about playing in the shower? I don't do it all the time. I just leave it out WHILE taking a shower.And yes, I am that addicted.

Yes. But not as much.

Idk, I Need reasons that's why

First, it destroys your battery pretty quickly so once you plug it out, it will drain out in a matter of seconds.

Second, people care about hours due to the places that says "Requires ???? hours to enter" because when one admin is gonna open an hour-exclusive shop, theres gonna be the first people to enter it due to AFKing

Third, its sort of a reputation thing. Get more hours and you attract new players to believe that you have played the game for a really long time. However, most players are using hide hours so that means nothing anymore.

Last but not least, you miss out on events really easily..
Hide-N-Seek, Contests, and more will all be missed during the time you AFK for hours.

One more thing.. It logs you out if you AFK for too long so any messages you were supposed to receive are gone when you log in..

You also miss them while being offline

You can get on the draisine and ride it. Won´t disconnect you and you keep getting the PM´s. In case you won´t do that and miss PM´s, people will PM you again if it was important.

I don't know, ever since i first started and saw that I needed hours to enter in places and a friend told me I could just afk I have just been AFKing, guess its a force of habit :0!!!!

I remember when I first logged in and saw the Zone and the other place.

What kind of nerd would play this game for 100 hours??? Lol!

brings back memories of when I got 100 hours back when it was a huge achievement. I still felt like a noob and I thought my friend void was like a super pro :) I miss those days :(


btw, is it even possible to afk anymore or does the server disconnect you?

Still disconnection. If you have VIP, just log into the no- VIP account when you AFK'd and transfer the stats. Cause while being disconnected with the VIP account, the hours are going on to count on on the non-VIP account. Else you don't have to worry, because actually it doesn't affect your AFK hours. Same for iEra

Tell me why you have about 4200 hours on the game but it's been out for only... nearly a year, and i play PC, for 5 years, and I'm just finally nearing 3000, even though i play every day.

I've been playing since January 2010 and have been addicted to the game since. I'm on it too much I can tell you that. I've afked only about 200-300 hours when I was trying to get into the Fan as a noob. The game has actually almost been out for 2 years if not already. Know your facts.

I dont get how ppl have 3k+ hours without afking. I've played a little after it came out quit for 4 months or something and i still barely hav 1k.
