Admin Response?
 

Ok I know that this has been brought up many times and I know you say that admins are busy with work or doing something else but it has gotten worse.I know half of you will say just email them but then your saying Everytime I want to ask a question I have to email someone just to get a simple answer?Please try something to fix this.And also what the point of Player Relation because them are the main ones I pm and Everytime no response,it's like most people become PR just so they can be*popular* and host events or auctions!

Well you should remember we can have up to 1800 players at one time and if we are lucky, 3 PRs may be on at the same time. Mix in several hundred pms saying "hi", "I have a question", "are you hiring", "do events", "do an auction", "i need your statue/doll" or "what will you be naming your firstborn child" then it is extremely difficult to respond to every pm. We are trying to do things with our official forum at era-go.com to answer these commonly asked questions and increase overall information sharing in hopes to cut down on these very repetitive pms that make it difficult for us to get to players with true issues. Also, depending on what you need, in some cases you should be emailing [email protected] for issues such as account transfers or issues with staff. If you have a complaint with another player, use the report system. If you have feedback for improving the game, use feedback in the menu or post on our forum. I honestly am not trying to make excuses, just want to shed some light on why it may be difficult to get a response at times. In reality, if players used the right venues as I have noted, then it should not be as difficult to make contact with any PR member in game.

Hey Jace. Firstly, about your 'popularity' issue, I totally disagree. Every member of staff in iEra has to treat every player with equality, and we do not differentiate between players regardless to there 'popularity' ratings or whatever. If you need help and you tell us, we will come to you, every player is equal.

Secondly, as Jeni stated, we do try to get to each PM and report, but it may be a time where there is only one staff on who is busy (hosting events/auctions, or helping someone else), which is very unlikely, but I do apologise on behalf if this has occurred with you. We do try to get to everyone, but its all about which staff is online and his 'style' of work. I personally do get to each IMPORTANT PM I receive (excluding 'hi', 'host auctions pl0x', 'meake me adam'), and in an unlikely presence that someone needs help whilst I'm hosting an event (where spam levels are beyond scale), I open them AFTER events, which may mean we get to you and your problem after a while. But most of the time, there will be more than one staff online.

Another way to get in touch with any problems you may have is my accessing a very good feature in our forums, era-go.com. It is called 'Letter to the Staff', where only you and the the staff team can see your enquiry. This is a fast and helpful way of seeking help, and I would hugely advice you to check it out. Lastly, you can always email me if you have any reports (with pictures would really help), enquiries or other questions. My email is [email protected]

Are you sure it's not a popularity contest because I know many people who ask very important question and never get a response
Off Topic-Justing asking but I know someone who got a very rare item for their bday from a admin just because it was his Birthday so if he gets a item for his birthday why is no one else allow to get one

Not all people get answer u think admin have the time to respond to everyone question people ant got time for that

I shared info on another thread explaining that staff cannot give items, our accounts are scripted in a way that we cannot drop anything but an ec and then only in the Event House. Most staff members have a personal ios account and are players just like you. They obtain items on this account in the same manner everyone does by purchasing at a shop, auction, or trading. If a staff member chooses to give items to friends from this account, it is allowed and no different than you gifting an item to your friend out of your personal inventory.

First reason they can just say Clear PMs simply.
But I think some Admins like you said don't even help abuse the power I see Admins do it 24/7 it's like they don't even try to look at one.
Can't they make like a special job for ppl who like to help they will be like admins except not having the power to host events just answer question and u really won't worry about spam since its pointless because they can't host events just answer question

What about that guy who got the nub head on a spear he wasn't a admin but said he got it for a bday gift?

Honestly I can say there is NO WAY I would personally get to every player if 1800 pmed me with an issue. Seriously. Bottom line is we do our best and we can all help each other by using some of the available resources that I listed for you earlier in this thread. If every player thinks of us as their own personal "era wiki" we would never be able to get through pms and help people who really need it and have no other venues. Just think before you pm, if you sincerely need help and have already at least attempted to use another resource for an answer, by all means contact us. I would tell you though that 80% or more of my pms are people wanting to chat, asking for items/events/auctions/dolls/statues, asking questions about unreleased items or areas (which we are not permitted to discuss), or general questions they could answer by looking at the map or reading news.

On your second comment, if you have a concern about a staff member you are requested to email that information in so it can be researched. There are always two sides to every story but fortunately our activity is logged so it is quite easy to get to the bottom of issues.

Firstly, if you gave a player admin-like powers whom seemed like they wanted to help, but actually didn't, you'd have to worry about making this job due to power abuse. Secondly, you can already answer questions off of your player account, I am always glad to help with any questions just like a member of the PR staff. So, in conclusion, making a job like this is absolutely pointless.

Most server on the computer have FAQs ( to deal with question answering) and PRs (to deal with the naughty players) . FAQs have limited power to sometimes even none, PRs have nearly all. After FAQs are introduced PRs can turn pms from friends only on an go deal with the bad players, patrol or host events. It would be a great way to balance everything in IMO.

You said they wouldn't have the power to host events... But let's not argue over something that's irrelevant. I was just stating my opinions after reading what you had posted.

yeah I pm'd 8 different staff a question and no response, finally got a response from snk for once lol

Ok sorry I should have made its specific my bad.I should have said they would t have any admin ability so they will be like Offical People who answer question like many stated I can just use the new forums so sorry.
