Wheres all the other Items? no mounts or morphs looks like all the effort went into nexus instead of the holiday items. I guess we can tell all the euro admins don't like Amurica. Yea I agree. Celebrating only certain national holidays is stupid, and obviously we can't celebrate every single one. But just so there's not a really long wait between certain international holidays, there could just be a Revolution or Onnet Store opening once in between. The items wouldn't have a holiday theme, but they would all have some sort of similar theme in common.

Nexus and Revolution will be opened once-per-season and this provides a greater variety in what people can get involved in. We are keeping the primary holidays, and there will also be annual 'made up' festivals which are more beffiting of the game context. Overall, the staff feel that this approach will provide a greater flexability for both the content that they produce and what is offered to the players themselves.

Actually it's hard to get substantial updates because staff are always preoccupied with whatever holiday is always just around the corner.

Heres a possible solution. Do what professional leagues do. Make a minor league(contest section in graalians classic) for graphic artist that are inspiring to hold a graphics staff position or just enjoy pixel art. This way you guys could give out tasks that would ease the work load on furry and his guys. This would serve 2 purposes 1.get work from the community that relates to a specific theme/event in a timely manner and 2. Scope out the talent in the classics graphics community.
I think furrys pet contest and azraels Halloween hat contest show how this could benefit the community

Thats basically what the Initiative was for, pet projects, but then it turned into only making stuff for the museum, and now both Initiative and museum are gone.

But i do think theyre should be two divisions of graphics staff: one to make allour holiday crap, and the other to make graphics for real content / occasional random hat update

I like the approch they are takeing as they would have tp fit in each countrys national day (that 1 guy from a ceartain country would go ape) however it wouod not surpirse me if stefan and unixmad kept basilte day as its french

That would require the number of graphics positions to increase which I don’t think it’s the direction they want to take. Having a section in graalians would allow more people to be included and give the community an easier chance to provide content for the server. It would also give people that enjoy doing pixel art the opportunity to provide their work without having to gain a position in the graphics team. I know people could send their stuff atm for use but when it’s a contest people seem to enjoy a lil bit more.
If cxe would get off their ass and reach 20K they would get their own Graaliday.
