Christmas Ideas
 

Hey folks,

It's coming to be that time o' year again. Any ideas?

Here's a few:

-Santa sleigh ride on.
-Quest that involves helping Santa find his missing gifts.
-Bag of toys special bomb.
-An elf that hides around Graal and if you find him you get rewarded a hat.
-A snowglobe guild house.
-Normal bombs are snowballs.

-A thing like the rps or the hug, except of giving a Christmas present
- A tree somewhere in Graal, where you can get a special present, maybe a hat or something similar to the things people get in gst
- An elf morph
-Reindeer mount

They had a reindeer mount last year which is why I'm hoping they mix it up a bit.

Ah. I was grounded this time of year last year. So I would not know. Oops. An elf mount!!! Piggy back ride :3

hmm just the two ideas and I'd be happy with just this...
1) free Present for all graalians (could be hat or head)
2) another hat contest like the halloween one 3winners (then other hats entered some could go into shop for cheap price)

Possibly do a "present hunt" just like the Easter egg hunt, except with, well, presents of course.

free for all snowball fight event- One point for every person you hit, most points wins. Every player has a 10 second respawn so afkers don't get farmed.

I was thinking the same thing. I liked the easter egg hunt thing :)

Release the North Pole!

maybe a santa quest treasure hunt, a snowball weapon(like on classic pc, pushback but no health damage) and a snowball arena like skill said in snowtown,

- Ability to throw Snowballs (as weapon, will lower arrows)
- Build snowman´s
- Build iglo´s
- A new guild house, which will be snow based (maybe you can build snowman´s and iglo´s there)
- Like mentioned some quests and the hat competition
- Redesigned Snowtown (actually I´d be interested in doing that :P)
- Sled driving (not as horse)

Maybe I´ll get some more ideas.

Snowtown is good, but there's no real reason to go there. Maybe add some other things to snowtown like sled races, etc.?

rather than find presents, why dont you make a quest were you have to deliver presents to npc's? :D

What about a present system where you give presents to other players and their present would contain a Christmas Hat, Furniture or NPC?

Graaloween increased the number of people at Deadwood, while before it was a bare wasteland (besides the tower). Snowtown remains a wasteland.

LOL The gift that keeps on giving!

Dusty, FP4, Jazz and I have really gone overboard with this for the past two years on Unholy Nation. In 2009 fp4 scripted it on Christmas eve, last year we had over 20 brand new hats made JUST for it. It's my favourite thing on Graal.


I don't play Unholy Nation anymore so I won't be involved this year. However, this is SO suitable for Classic iPhone, and a lot of the issues we've faced would be solved in how the server is. I could imagine it being adapted pretty well, and with Classic iPhone offering furniture in addition to just hats and (gani) items there's a lot more of a variety. I definitely want to see this on Classic iPhone, and EVERYONE spends a ****load of money buying gifts for their friends during it. Best feature of Christmas on Graal you're going to get.

Thor has a snowball item on Classic :D

Yeah I remember this now form last year on UN, even though there isn't a huge player base tons of gifts were bought. The idea of having rooms probably wouldn't work though because of the number of people who would buy gifts. If UN needed 6 rooms or so Classic iPhone would need a lot more. But yeah, something like this should happen.

Houses/guildhouses are super appropriate for this IMO.

Gifting items to players = instawin. Also, do something similar to the easter eggs, that was a big hit.

UN also has a crapload of various toy NPCs and such for the gifts to randomly give, though.

That would probably be better.

maybe we could shrink into an elf morph

~Make Santa come to town!

alot of snow so when we run we see our foot steps and a emote that lets us make snow angels or a snowman

For the snow globe guild house, when you say zz or do a barrel roll or whatever the snow should shake and fall down :o

-A big Santa NPC you can sit on and get one free hat from him (Any one hat)
-Sleigh (Draisine)
-new candycain dance (Gani/Dance)
-Santa Body (Onette sail)

There should be a quest where you have to help Santa deliver his presents, And at the end of the quest you gain a hat or morph in your inventory.

maybe something like a winter ctf. both teams have to build a snowman but they have to get the 3snowballs for it from the other team first

Help Santa quest! Make a small town with different NPCs in each building, waiting for their presents. You could have Santa up somewere in the mountains because his sleigh was broken so he stopped to repair it. While it was broken he was dropping presents all over Graal before he landed. So, you would need to talk to each NPC and see what they want and you have to find each present for them, which would be sporadically placed all over the map. When you return all the presents, they tell you to talk to Santa who gives you a special "present" for helping him. (it could be a hat or special item or something) What do you guys think? :)

Perhaps the railroads should be a sleigh ride

we should make all the kids who have bad jail records get free coal.
