This thread is to inform you about the new server in the making ... Graal Amazon! Graal Amazon is new... counting about two weeks of existence but has already made great progress! The rough theme of the server is that every new player will be pictured as a lost sailor reaching an (as it seems) deserted island. The island will be mainly covered by jungle but there is much more to what meets the eye. The server will be a way to meet new people, as well as take part in a number of adventures and quests! There are many ideas on the table right now ( such as careers, alliances, even mounts for 3 people) but nothing is yet certain. Below is a list of the majority of staff members already on the server:

We, at Graal Amazon, are currently looking for staff members that are willing to help and be cooperative! In order for you to join our crew you must apply by either messaging me on my Graalians account, emailing me ( [email protected] ) or skyping me (daphnegraal)! The application myst contain a few words about yourself (timezone,experience,interests etc.) and some of your work! However, we will be hiring only ONE Gp to help us organise the matters of the server, so if you are interested in a Gp position i suggest you make your application the best you can. An important detail is that gold subscription is necessary with only a few exceptions... Last, but not least, feel free to contact me or Brayden, whose contact info will be posted at the end of the thread, for any questions about Graal Amazon!

I've heard you just started this server up not so long ago. I wouldn't recommend publicly posting this server unless you want it to end badly. I've been there and done that.
How it works:
1. Players see this thread.
2. No pictures and storyline added.
3. Player doesn't apply/want to help because of lack of images and details.
4. Never does that player return to this server to apply.

Please work on the server more before showing it to everyone.
Add images and possibly videos of the server once you get further into it to bring liking to those who see it.

To begin, for the staff that don't agree with the position posted here please contact brayden, since he is the one who gave me the list :) Also, thank you all a lot for your feedback and i hope we manage to meet... or even surpass your expectations! Last, the suggestions are very helpful but for you willing to help you can always apply and show us your ideas completed!

I'd be down to help some from time to time, but in all honestly I'm just to lazy to apply or add anyone on Skype.

I applied. I doubt I'll get in though, I lost half of the WIP's since I got my computer, the only things I could find were on my gfx thread :(

Lol you don't need GPs for a dev server, especially as one as new as this.

FurryAmigo we do need Gps to organise staff list as well as make people interested by advertising the server, improving and controlling the on the making forum and find new people to work :D

That should be the managers job, or the head of each departments job :0

I agree, we do get a lot of applications and just shift them over to whoever we think can judge.
I think what she meant was someone who could do something temporarily, until he gets the chance to actually do what he wanted later on, or just to do things that other staff members don't feel like doing.
We barely have any GP's, and those that we have do things like advertise or monitor our forums and send emails to other staff.
It doesn't hurt to have a few extra people willing to help out.

Forum? There should not be a forum for your server yet, because you guys have just started.
Advertise? Do not advertise if you have nothing to show, yet.
Organize? Lead of each departments/manager's job.

I believe what should or shouldnt do at this point is up to us :) If we feel we need more people to help out at this point then we will get more people. Anyways, many very experienced people have applied and all opinion can help develop the server the best way possible!

Stop repeating what other people say to make a point.
We were talking about a private forum, where we could post our work and add assignments.
If you are not happy with the way that we are running the server than you can just stop posting and do something else. :angry:

How your coder? You know, other than code library.

You mean who codes for Amazon? Well, I do. I've made a couple of cool systems so far, including the inventory, the profile, and finally, the shop system. I've also made the staff tool, development RC, and etc.

MattKan is also a great contribution for the project.

Surprisingly enough, every script on the server (and there are quite a few) was made specifically for the server other than Pix's level editor and Fp4's NPC editor.

Bensor, be a hotty, not a grumpy. :/

Also, I'll come in to apply for GFX (or SFX or whatever you call it.).

I don't remember promoting you to Assistant Gani Admin. I'll look to see if anyone else did.

You shouldn't have GPs. You shouldn't be advertising. You should be focusing 110% on development, and make steady progress until you have a fully functioning server with well developed content. Once you have that, you then start to advertise while you further your development based on the players opinions and feedback of your server.

Just reading the comments of this server, I can already tell that the server is lacking organization and lacking priorites.

What it they made Some levels and ask the players to make them tiles as a contest

@Hayze Thank you for your interest! However, the way we handle our server is working great for us.
@Shadowfox the tileset is ready and wont be announced for now... Your idea is great but will need to wait some time :P

Our "Extra Staff" are doing a good job at the moment. Advertisement=This Thread, and threads like this, asking for help not spam.

Hello,my name is Goofy. I work on Graal Amazon as a LAT and since I can't get anyone's attention maybe someone will read this. We need to add a gmap and work on the tileset. Not only have I not seen many staff members on but GPs should not be aloud yet. The server is a staff only server and I think GPs don't do anything until there's actually someone to ban or keep the server safe. We are doing all the work while they sit there with boots and playing around killing someone. This is what I think should happen,NO more GPS.

Goofy I am pretty sure you dont wont on amazon....never seen you and never heard of you, matt is the only lat so you have no say in what goes on at this point the server is well managed and ifs fine without you(you dont een work on amazon)

Please say your joking, why on earth would a dev server possibly need GPs?
