Alliance Leaderboards
 
Hello Zonians!


I have thought about this for a real long time now. But I am having some difficulties. Its for Alliances.

The general idea of this is to get Alliances into use and have squads use these more often. It will be just like Squad Leaderboards but with Alliances. Heres how it goes:

If you have not noticed, there is 'Total Time' on an Alliance's page. It's basically a combination of all the squad hours put into one major hour for the Alliance. This promotes teamwork. In this Alliance there will be one major leading officer (The one who created it). He/She has the ability to invite other squads to join their alliance. The leaders of the other squads that join the alliance will be Co-Leading Officers. Meaning theyre second in command. The members of the squads are combined into one major list in the alliance. Now, heres the cool part. All the squads must work together to obtain a certain amoun of hours. Certain goals get a special reward.

Lets make an example:

I'll use three squads and one alliance called (Art).
Squads: Godsu, Godlike, Pixels.
Alliance: Art - Alliance Leader: ShizGodsu
Co-Leaders: (Squad Leaders names here)
Members: (Squad members here)
Alliance Total hours: (This is basically the total amount of hours of the squads in the alliance combined.)

Now, Let's say the alliance hit 5000 hours or something (Just an example).
The squads receive an award.

Now we need to figure out how squads cant abuse this. (A squad in the alliance could have a butt-load of hours and leave to join another alliance. We need to figure out a way for this not to happen.) I need suggestions on this idea in General. Lots of them.

I need to know how you feel about this idea and whether you think it should be added in-game or not. Personally, I myself love the idea. It brings teamwork and the alliance kinda acts as a government for themselves.

Sounds nice. But I don't see a way how this can work. Unless, the squads that are in the alliance each has a base. Then they can start gaining alliance hours. This would mean alliance hours and squad hours is two separate things. And must be earned differently.

The Alliance's total hours are from each of the Squad's hours in the Alliance.
Each of the squads hours are added into a total amount, which results into the Alliance's hours. It's really not that hard to understand lol.

Squads in the Alliance don't need to have a base at the same time. Whichever squad decides it wants to base, those hours are being added up to the Alliance.

Good idea!


This idea was just to get alliances more involved besides having them sit there with allied squads. It acts as a big giant "family".

Absolutely love it. Having more rewards fractioned in with 2000hr for a hat is great. I you could say it's more fun and 'REWARDING'...

However, I think it should be Co Leaders strictly. Sounds like an army under control of one guy. I think it should have 3 leads and 4 perms per squad, each leader of the squad being one of the 2-5 Managers.

So you suggesting that the Co Leaders agree/disagree on everything correct? I like the idea a lot. Perhaps there could be a feature to cast a vote on rank promotions etc.

Thread is to get suggestions and ideas. If we can't avoid the situations as hopping to one alliance then to another to get awards.. then it wouldnt be added. And yeah good idea.

As in little boosts, I was thinking. How about on Conquest, If you hold one hour, attack+1 or Speed+1 or defense +1? This would help holding it longer, but you can only hold one at a time, and if you leave, theyre gone.

Wtf just throw them another crappy hat to keep them satisfied, let's not give out actual good rewards. Lol boosts would not even be considered, they wouldn't add a reward changing the gameplay.

Hmm. How about a point system for squads so they can have their alliance leaders vote and decide on what they want to spend it on?

There was an idea on squad v squad actives with this same system. Pretty sure the idea was trashed after they started making the event house :/

May which ever squad created the alliance automatically gets their hours added. But squads that joined can't add their initial hours when joining the squad, only the hours they gain while in the squad count. I think this would even it out.
Squad A has 250 hours and makes an alliance. So 250 hours go to the alliance. squad B joins with 100 hrs. The alliance still has 250 hrs, but squad B bases after they join and get 10 hrs that day. The alliance now has 260 hrs.
I realize a lot of you will dislike this but it seems fair in my eyes.

That would be awesome. I've seen a few other MMO games with this system too. It works great but what would alliances spend their points on?

Really? I think if you actually worked for a Squad House it would become a lot more interesting. Instad of buying it like classic and era..

i think it would too but thats not what everyone else thinks. squad houses are pointless period. according to the community.....
