It's closed due to the problem of people boosting inside of the CTF level.

Lol like anyone played it anyways.

Honestly if they just fix a few of the blocking issues, added permanent leaderboards, and removed the fee to play people would play it like crazy.

It has been closed due to an inordinate amount of boosting. It was really out of hand by the time of its closure.

I played ctf quite often, i would enjoy seeing it come back better then before.

Yes there is a huge problem with boosting caused by a glitch with the way you die in default. It can't be fixed through scripts so for right now it's closed awaiting Stefan to address the issue.

If he doesn't address it I will try to reopen it via some other method(like reverting your kills back), but the old CTF was also attempting to do this with bombs/arrows but failed spectacularly.

Theres a lot of nice things you could do with it while youre fixing it, one thing id like is private matches, so i could just play a round or two with friends.

there should be key cards for ctf :0 like each day u get 5 cards to play 5 times

Just delete ctf or make it so you can kill without getting a kill.

If it was this easy I would have done it. I actually spent a lot of time messing with CTF when I closed it, and eventually I had to give up. I did end up converting bows and bombs to a custom ammo value for CTF to eliminate absolutely any chance of players using CTF for cheap ammo. The thing is, sometimes you don't get kills in CTF, sometimes you do. It's this inconsistency that worries me.

I wanna know to,but Imo it would probably be better left up in the air as a surprise. Look at how many people all ready hang out around the rail road station in graal city. If they release an exact date there will be a ginormous lag cluster of idiots afking around the area blocking the road and causing unneeded lag.

In case you forgot think back to June when Rufus let it out that Nexus would be opening and the huge crowd that was jam packed outside the Nexus waiting for it to open over a 24 hour period. That is a prime example why its best for them not to announce exact release dates on things.

IMO if there where more mini games spread out with random prizes gralats,hats,mounts,morphs not just hats and not just set prizes. It would go along away in dealing with the lack of content complaints,and give players reasons to go visit other areas and not just congregate outside the refuge,bank,and battle arena areas.

If it would be easier then how about just making a few of the events into mini games instead of having to make mini games from scratch? IMO I think the Horse race track in York should be opened up and taken out as an occasional event anyways. As well as other events. I have posted this before would it be that difficult to set up and use the current events as mini games in different buildings around the map? Wouldn't this be faster or maybe even easier way of giving us new content than adding new towns and stuff?

Like dodge for example I know there is different levels of it. So make it so you can pay differing amounts to enter and compete que's in the different levels for better prizes. I.e 100g for dodge easy if you can complete it within 5 mins you get small prize (gralats,furniture,pet), 500g for dodge medium at 3 mins and a random good prize (bombs,hats,juggle or other gani) 1k for dodge hard at 1 min and super random prize (hats,morph,mount,free upload voucher). The idk if they are but the mazes should probably be different for each coarse.

I think you're in the wrong thread; we're talking about CTF being closed?
