Blueh's Random Drawings

Hello there, folks. I decided to purchase a whiteboard over the duration of the last school year in order to keep track of my homework and excercise routines. However, I found myself to be more reliant on my planner, and my body (and what doesn't hurt) for those things. So what I've decided to do with my whiteboard was to draw sketches on it in my spare time and boredom. As a fan of Supernatural, I drew this:

So, if you want to fill in requests here of any character or person you'd like to see me draw, if I have time, just be sure to leave a comment and reference picture below. Please note that these do take some time, and my schedule this year has been eating away at my free time with school, and whatnot. So all I ask is: Please be very patient. Wait for Delteria while you wait (jk lol). Also be respectful and courteous of other requests that are before your own. Enjoy!

I renamed the title to this because I don't feel like making another thread. Anyways, long story short: I ran out of whiteboard markers so I can't do those anymore until I buy some. Good news however, I can still do regular drawings! I haven't drawn in a while so I decided to make myself a proper bookmark after growing tired of using library receipts. Here's a self portrait! jk lol

I am so glad you keep these! Lots of artists think that anything written on post-it notes or whatever aren't worth keeping or sharing.

Draw me! I am a fishbowl head with a brain and eyes floating around! The system preserves my brain and eyes and allows them to function using a robotic body.

Toxic 07-26-2014 03:55 AM

Amazing! You should draw my graal character :D

Jared9 07-26-2014 11:47 AM

Awesome! Great job

Blueh 07-26-2014 03:10 PM

I can also draw Graalians (irl, I'm not good with cartoons or anime), I may start taking requests for irl drawings, but I understand if it doesn't make you feel comfortable, then I won't post those drawings here unless it's alright with you first. You can shoot me a private message with a photo attached, and I *might* get around to it. These take a while so please be patient if it takes a while. It's a day project per drawing, and I might be a bit busy the next few days or so. Plus I'm still going to draw for leisure, I have no exact order I'll be drawing them. So yeah, your gamble lol. But I'll try my best to get around to it ^^ no promises though.

Just want to say these drawings are pretty good.

You could probably make money doing them in sketch paper and putting them on a frame. I see people at the swap-meets once in a while doing that.

Mangsi 08-02-2014 07:25 AM

No no no, keep it on that paper, adds to the originality of it :0

I wonder where I could sell these lol... Hell, I'd rather get paid doing something I actually enjoy rather than minimum wage for something I hate.

I dont know if it would be a continuous form of income, but it could start as some extra (non tax) income on the side. The places in CA where I've seen them are swap-meets, certain areas of the beach, and parks. I think any place where a lot of people gather would be a good place. The only thing about the swap-meet is that you would have to pay for a spot.

Maybe FB and craigslist can be options. The city where I live has a FB page where people sell stuff to each other. The only thing is that you have to be more cautious with these options.

Latte 08-04-2014 08:57 PM

these are really awesome, great face anatomy. I especially like the logo on the lion head.

Also, freelance art is pretty easy/simple to manage, as long as you have a reliable scanner. Check out /r/artshop, become active within DeviantArt, or perhaps find a niche in a smaller community. I sell through GASR, an IMVU-based art community. The demand for art is high in IMVU, so it's pretty easy to sell, especially if your art is realistic. I do digital art there and it pays like a minimum wage job (well used to, I've been busy since summer school started)

Have you tried smudging? For these in particular:

A little extra smudging can go a long way.

Smudging often goes horribly wrong for me. It turns into a huge mess. I used to smudge when I was nooby at art and had a huge ego about it, but a teacher came and corrected me with cross hatching.

Talon 08-06-2014 07:13 PM

We're talking about art though, there is no "correct" way to do anything.
