Best Popular Anime Character? SAO or AoT
 

From both very popular shows I know everyone would know which two characters they will be against.

On the Male side:

Kirito and Eren

On the Female side:

Asune and Mikasa

where is the captain levi option :(

Sorry, I don't like Eren. I feel Kirito can relate to my personality the most which is why he's in my top three favorites. Mikasa is my second favorite in Attack on Titan because I just love her in general.

EDIT: **** I didn't read that it was for males and females. I thought it was a character from each anime. Asuna is going to kill me...

This is easy in both to be fair

Male:Kirito. Why? Well eren in my eyes is one of the weakest characters in SnK (if armin or jean or levi was in the male i would vote for one of them) while at least kirito is relateable in ways to myself

Female:Mikasa. Why? Easiest by far well Asuna starts off fine but by the end of season one of SAO she is basicly has to relie on kirito. Alot. While mikasa is just a badass in every sense and is given a backstory in one of the early episodes (think it was episode 3 or 4

Don't worry I will post another thread of the best protagonists of many anime rather than these two shows.

I know most people have said this but I really like how asuna character growth went from the start of SAO to the end it was just amazing.

Watching this Sward Ert Inline. It's okay, I love the concept, it's just fantastic.
But I bloody hate the relationship. "Kirito I love you" "I don't wanna die". Those phrases make me hate parts and episodes. They push 10 minutes of that crap up my nose, but no action. No development in the same damn phrase.
The hostle Asuna at the beginning is better IMO.

Think what you will, but there are many other people who enjoyed it as you can see. I personally loved the first arc, but didn't like the second arc as much. However, the first arc was enough for me to give it a 10 because of how creative it was and the story behind it. I wish they would have slowed it down a bit though.

Holy ****, you didn't like the second arc and still gave it a 10? That is moronic to say the least, no wonder it's so overrated. It had a good concept and started decently, but once a show starts going downhill it's unlikely people who are already invested in it will stop watching, so earlier high ratings will continue based on the strong start.

The people who marked it as complete took the time to change that status on their page and can easily change the rating to correspond with their overall rating as well.

Better then the same damn quotes. Watched all the series and I liked ALFheim more because she wasn't in it 1/2 the time. Yes she was sort of the focus, but it made sense.
Sugu was a better partner IMO.

Still hate the pacing. The show is just horribly paced. Ugh. Too many jump cuts, and I'd rather not buy books to find out what really happened. It could've been so much better if someone said "50 episodes?".

Too many sexual abuse innuendos. Lord, that was just horrid to watch, because I know some sicko is fapping to that **** somewhere in this world.

I was agreeing with you until you said the show has alot of fan service and it made me facepalm. It hardly has any fan service to be an ecchi show. A real ecchi show is something like high school DxD or high school of the dead

Sigh ecchi and hentai are different. Ecchi is nudity but no sexual intercourse while hentai is well hentai. And i thought you loved power rangers so i guess watching men in skin-tight suits is your thing (note this i HATE ecchi shows)

Sorry for the bump, but I put off watching AoT for the longest time and picked it up yesterday (yeah, I'm slow, stfu) and I thought of this thread while I was watching. Only 6 episodes in and Mikasa is already a better character than Asuna a thousand times over imo.
