Buying Packs on iOS vs. Facebook
This is something I've known forever, but it's worth mentioning now since I actually have a reason to spend a lot of money gralats for my friends.
What is the actual reason that iOS users get more gralats for their dollar? On FB, the max we can buy at a time is 10k and that is $4.99. On iOS, 27.5k is what you get for $9.99. It kind of sucks for FB users. Is it because Facebook takes out some higher fee than iTunes does, or? While I've got attention on this thread, what is the pricing for Android? |

Ok, lets ask an un-official forums about it. Lets ask a forums that doesn't even have Stefan, the creator registered on. I'm sure someone will give you a legitimate answer to your question on this forums (!) |
The "Gralat Pack 3" wasn't added until after the FB client was added. So I guess they forgot to make that update to FB

Anyway, if you really hate buying gralats in small amounts then you can always buy your gralats from the skyrider website. It's a little bit expensive but it will save you the hassle of clicking lol. |
On the skyrider client u can buy 40k at once ;)

A friend informed me that Android users also get the same rates as iOS. |

If you do want an answer, why not email Stefan, he might actually know! [email protected] Or [email protected] |
Facebook retains 30% and developers get 70% of all revenue earned through Credits.
I don't know about Apple but I believe they're somewhere between 10-15%. |

Never knew that

pretty dumb either way
even assuming that the unbalanced pricing is based on fees, it still seems more sensible to price it based on what the end-user is paying rather than what the developing is earning oh well |
Facebook used to have offers like most if not all the other games to earn free gralats through promotional offers via subscriptions to various things, filling out surveys, and my favorite downloading apps to your idevice and trying them out. Got a good free 35k or more that way. They took them down several months ago tho,and to my knowledge they where never available on the ios version of classic. The skyrider client had a similar thing as well but Idk if it still has it since I don't and will never use it again.

Interesting.. Maybe just costs?
