Just wondering with the Super bowl only a few weeks away will we get the chance to buy football themed items again like last year?

If this happens can we have FIFA World Cup items as well please? :o

Does this mean we get pokemon card world championship items too?:D

Who can honestly sit through an entire football game? I don't understand the joy of watching a bunch of idiots tackling each other. Most people just eat a ton of food and don't even watch the game.

Such a relatable post, the Super Bowl for me is basically just an excuse to eat more foods than usual.

Yeah, why not have some Olympic stuff? It is not tied to one specific culture so why not celebrate it? I get that there are many nations, but why not make items based on the sports?

That's because you are trying to be negative about it, perhaps you might be jealous? Sports are something actually real in life. They aren't these sitcoms, and these cartons, they aren't animes, or comedies or movies, they aren't even the news. Sports are real, usually live, entertainment and are one of the very few kinds to outdate the introduction of media like TV and internet. Even going back into to ancient days. It's how people managed and still manage to kill time in places where they aren't showered with electronics and other fancy tools to do whatever they want. Try playing a sport for once and you might change your opinion about them, not only do they make you feel great and make great friends, but it is a thrill to have a crowd cheering you on.

Sure I don't enjoy many sports, many are personally boring. But just because football isn't my thing, it doesn't mean that it's just a bunch of idiots playing a game. That goes for any sport. Many players are very educated. Nothing is wrong with enjoying to be athletic and push yourself to your limits. They get tons of girls, they get tons of attention, they get lots of cash, they stay in great shape, and they get to do what they love for a career. Is this the definition of an idiot to you? They seem pretty successful, what do you have, Mattkan? You are in charge of running the constantly dying graalians minecraft server?

Looks like Mattkan might be taking a visit to his local burn center. But please, let's not make this thread into some giant flame war as every other thread eventually turns into.

Fifa :D brings the world and countries together to play a peaceful sport and help

Okay not gonna lie, I have a great deal of respect for sports players but soccer really is a super boring sport to watch.

Breaking news for you "international" people Nooooobody in Murica gives the slightest crap about soccer,and FYI there is all ready soccer stuff permanently available in the game at Brothers you can get goals and soccer ball furniture items for your house. So why is it that soccer stuff is allowed in the game permanently when its not a popular sport in the usa?

I just don't see what the big deal would be in adding other sports items in the game? Is the problem that most major sports are looked at as mostly American? They play Football,basketball,baseball,ect. All over the world so why shouldn't any sport be considered international?

Why should the big kids get what they want if it's different to what everyone else wants? :(

Idk if your post was serious or not, but FYI, MLS is constantly increasing in popularity, I wouldn't be surprised if it surpasses and becomes one of the 3 Top American sports within the next decade.

The problem is the games in the MLS really aren't that good compared to other leagues. Don't see a reason to watch American leagues at all lol.

did you hear about the latest loan/transfer signings though? Some team in MLS is getting players from Tottenham. Theres been a new trend of EPL players transferring (as players or managers) to MLS teams before they retire too and a lot of european players are near retiring so you never know if they ever decide to move :love:

Before they retire is the key word. All the players who used to be good come to the MLS to ride out there golden years lol.

How is it international then if not all the countries where the game is available are not involved?

No offense, to the admins but it seems to me that we have Soccer permanently placed in the game when no other sport is because most if not all the higher up admins are not from the US. Their being from other countries means their favorite or primary sport is soccer.

I'm not saying we have to get just American football items in the game it could be any sports items. The point I was trying to make in my last post before I got off on a rant was that All Sports are international and it doesn't matter where they are based.

Maybe it would be better to help make all interested parties happy if they released a lot of different sports themed items instead of just one particular sport. That way people in one country aren't complaining about it being just items from a sport that's mostly just popular in another country.

PS. Just wanted to correct myself there is 1 other sports item in the game other than soccer and that being the furniture pool tables,however other than placing some sort of text or whatever on them they are not interactive. (interactive=being able to actually play pool or billards as its known in some countries.) (No I do not count the "mini golf course" as its actually a pk place and there is nothing you can actually buy,own,or do with it.)

As for 'why only soccer items' - its probably because its the most popular sport, not because of non american admins lol, and also because its simple to implement, it just needs a ball. Other games like pool or hockey would need much more attention to create well.
Also archery is in the game as well as the bull riding in nexus, both of which are sports.
I would like to see sport items in the game, especially large sports event like the Olympics/FIFA world cup but making actual minigames would be quite a lot of work.

We have a working soccer ball and net in the Brothers' house, just an FYI. I can imagine there being hockey with the same concept except with ice skates.

I see why your defending soccer now your from the UK so of course you would think it's the most popular sport. Maybe you should try doing a poll and see what major sport gets the most votes. I do realize it is a very simplistic game to implement. I do admit I over looked archery as a sport being in the game,however I wouldn't count bull riding as its not in the game ATM. You where only able to do it for one weekend and now its no longer around.
