Howdy all!

Doomsday is back! Yes, it has been cleared by globals! This is official.

Currently Doomsday is being worked on under the server name Dev MidNightChillx

We also have a pretty good team for a server that began development less than a week ago. Deas_Voice (great scripter), Vinka (legendary gfxer), CujoDaMan (great scripter, ex-SL Manager), Blah64 (great scripter), Trimaster (great LAT); Just to name a few.

I know a lot of people are against bringing old servers back, but for us oldbies, it is the nostalgia that we love. I also believe Doomsday has just as good of a chance as any other server. Some of you may know me from Unholy Nation recently. I completed 80% of their new overworld myself, and I plan on working just as hard on this OW, which requires a little bit less work than what I did on UN. So with me, mixed with a few other LAT's, it should be knocked out fairly quickly. We also have an elite scripting core that is converting old scripts/systems and also making new ones. We do have some new systems in store that Graal has not seen before, but we will wait a bit to announce that.

We are hiring everything, but we are mostly looking for GFXers. We could use a few extra LAT's (but know, our standards are high), and scripters as well.

As you can see from the screenies, the OW is in the middle of a complete re-detail, though the structure for the most part will stay the same.

Why? That server is older than dirt.

That's the good thing about it =). It has history, a legacy. It is one of Graal's most popular, historic and loved servers.

The entire OW is getting redone so it won't look "older than dirt" anymore. Plus we have high level scripters programming new exciting systems that Graal hasn't seen before. One of those systems I'm really stoaked about and can't wait to announce, we are waiting for it to get further into development before we reveal it.

Anyway, I feel DD has just as good of a chance as any other server in the development stages. Maybe even better of a chance because of our already elite core of staff.

I really don't understand why no one on Graal creates their own content anymore, and instead continues to rehash and abuse the material of original servers that others worked hard on.

It's like this iDelteria mess. Really? What connections are there to Delteria? One or two distant staff members?

Anyway, if anyone is curious, this guy has, for years, pretended to be other people on PC Graal (damaging their reputation and his own), and has even gone as far as to make little Graal gossip sites where he spreads personal information (that's publicly available anyway) about players and types huge rage paragraphs over them. Good luck!

Development takes time, and with graal it also takes money, which is stupid.

Says the person who is on iClassic (a rip off of original Classic) 24/7... Funny.

Because it's the same amount of work as a new server, but you give an old Graal home a chance become home to new Graalians andreturn the homes of old ones.

I never took anyone's identity, I just had quite a few due to being banned many times and having to avoid being re-banned for ban evasion.

Now that you have attempted give a history on me... Let's tell Thallen's story-
Thallen was a loser back in the day on UN, begging players like Shadow Dynasty to play on his account for him so people will think he was good. Even went as far as begging people for trainers to help him with his skill that just isn't there. His last attempt at playing PC Graal ended in Kirrr Bloodvayne and I embarrassing him to the point Thallen had to run to globals, being run off of Classic, and PC Graal. He now lives 24/7 on iClassic, still as poor as ever irl.

I hate to be the one to say this, but that was very immature and rude, what you said about Thallen. I question the quality of this server.

Immature? Thallen said something to egg him on and de-rail the thread, i don't see him defending himself being immature. You question the quality because of a skirmish started by Thellen? idk what to say .-.

I understand that Thallen was also immature and rude, but talking back in the same fashion to him was immature. He did not have to say:
He could have written something more mature and respectful instead of bashing him back. That is my opinion at least, and although he has very skilled staff members, an army is as powerful as it's leader.

Ramza is not liked very much by PC players. He's a trouble maker at best.

As well as has been banned countless times and tried to bring back other old servers such as N-Pulse and failed. But I won't judge him on the past anymore.If he can make this happen good for him and Graalians.

So starting a thread about my server, attempting to gain more help to make sure it is as high quality as possible, then defending myself when someone chooses to run their mouth makes me immature? You're right, an army is as strong as their leader... But find me 1 leader who would let someone disrespect them. If that is you, then hey, that's your choice, but it's not mine. I even posted something attacking Thallen on his thread about the outfit viewer or whatever it was, but I edited it and changed it to 'Hai Thallen' because I figured eh, why start something on a thread? Let it die. Guess Thallen wasn't as "mature." Also, Thallen and I have known each other for a very long time. We were friends back in uh... 2002? Until he became a total _______ and lost most of his friends. I know a lot about Thallen and me, him and everyone who knew him over the time periods I was talking about knows every word I stated was true.

And yeah, a lot of people on PC don't like me, but that is because I didn't like them and went out of my way to make them miserable. There are also just as many people on PC who do like me. Either way, I am just trying to keep to myself and work on a server to better Graal and give it's players content worth playing. Not sure how you could hate me for that....

Also, I didn't fail on N-Pulse. I did a lot of work on N-Pulse. I cliffed an entire island. I detailed an entire island. The OW was very, VERY close to done. I didn't have any scripters/gfxers, true, but those are hard to come across. But I was working my ass off because hey, if the OW is done, then all we need is a few systems, handful of NPC's and the entire project is done. They shut it down because they wanted to shut it down. I even offered to buy a server and pay for it every month so they didn't have to worry about it taking up Stefan's money being Classic. They turned it down because of their own reasons, nothing to do with me.

Oh **** battle between 2 dinosaurs. More dirty laundry pls.




OT: gl getting capable developers

Some people in the Graalians community are quickly turning into a similar attitude of some people on the Graal Forums community. If the dude wants to do this, let it be. You don't have to be involved and you don't have to play the server. It's that simple...

Very true, Cyril. It's just a shame that Thallen feels that way, because he was a part of the old Doomsday community, just like you and I were.

Not really true... If you match up N-Pulse in 2002 and Doomsday in 2002, DD's levels were farrrr ahead of their time. Even though N-Pulse is forever my home server, I have to be fair.

Doomsday is going to be home of a pet system that will act like a Pokemon type system. Blah64 is deeply involved with it, he already has the battling system of it functioning, though there is a lot left, it is some what in working condition already. Battling each other's pets, training, leveling, evolving, capturing more!

We also plan on revamping the entire ET system with fresh new events for both players, and their pets.

Also on our list is having a unique sparring system put in place that will include an out-sourced UDP system. Our main goal of this system is to reduce lag as much as possible, several different ways. Also to promote competitiveness.

Our shops will be filled with plenty of new AND old items for fun around our newly designed OW.

We could use a lot of GFX help though.

Is platinum a girl seriously needing to marry this person, so wise. Anyways Platinum is right, although it was immature of Thallen to start something... again two wrongs don't make a right. What I don't agree with Platinum and others is that I'd actually like to give this a try either way, its always fun to try new things.

And, I agree with Platinum (need to spread rep, always tryna rep you lol). Everyone should just chill, this is a server recruitment thread, don't come and bash people for it. That is unnecessary harassment. (thallen>_>)

But fighting thallen back is something that will prove detrimental for a server manager in the future, and as I say this, I am thinking about all the crap that has been going on with Tashkin and what happened with MysticalDragon.

Just stay away from this if you're a hard-working developer. I'm only trying to save you time. Don't let this guy pull the wool over your eyes and try to tell you old tall tales about PC Graal, because literally 90% of what he says is an absolute lie. There's a lot of naive little kids from iClassic who are very attracted to material from the days of PC Graal (like GOAT, the dude who studies old Graal forum posts), but this is not a person you should trust or even listen to.

Doomsday was a very cool server back in those days and the server was closed when the manager, Tifa, stepped down (in, I think, 2004). She felt as if no one else was fit or ready at the time to handle the responsibilities that came with managing the server, so when she left she asked for the entire server to be closed down.

If people such as Tifa, Davio, Sliq, InZane, Cid, Leov, Baraka, Jubei, and other Doomsday regulars still even had this game in the back of their mind, I'm sure they would denounce this "revival" effort and tell you that this guy never even had anything to do with Doomsday. The levels are stolen from old level packs that were leaked when Graal servers were hacked. He did the same thing to Shaded Legend (which was not even named correctly, it was never "Shaded Legends") and that server failed.

Just spreading some knowledge and trying to help.

Not only am I not arguing, I didn't even read a single post in this thread past my first reply (the last one being my second). I didn't even speak directly to him, and I'm posting pretty clearly and calmly. You're weird if you think this is "rage" or an argument, IMO.
