Levels contest
 

I just saw the new contest and I was thinking it would be neat to have a levels contest, instead of graphics contests. I know my opinion is a bit biased. What do you think? Do You think it would be a good contest?

I totally agree with you Terver it would be great to have something similar to the Nexus contest again, introduces people to something other then graphics. :D

Modern Day GI Joe just f***s up Cobra with a drone while muttering “Go Joe” into his Diet Coke.

It'd be hard because you wouldn't be able to attach levels here for submission. It'd have to all be e-mailed in.

I have no idea how to make levels, but I would love to see what others are going to make so I support this.

Technically you could take a picture of any level, anywhere, and post it up then. Considering that approximately half of the submissions for the Halloween Hat Contest were created by people OTHER than the person who posted it, I would not accept screenshots of levels as a submission.

In that case you could download them or steal them. Hell, I've heard they've got a program that takes pictures of levels and converts them to .nw!

More reasons to not have a Levels Contest :P

I KNOW ILL FILM MYSELF MAKING THE LEVEL :D

This is just an idea, but why couldn't it start off as posting screen shots and then a select few that the judges like ask for the level in.nw. If caught cheating the person could be disqualified from future events.

This is a bad idea.
I'd completely own this competition. You wouldn't stand a chance, so it wouldn't really be a competition anyway. :P
